I also left NY for MD.

We could have been on the same A train on multiple times grin grin
We could have grin . Last December I went to NY to visit My uncle. I rented a car so as not to deal with train problem. I was given ticket for parking while buying groceries. The crazy thing is that I paid for the parking spot grin grin . I have zeroed my mind about ever living in NY again.

I still like NY but can't deal with the fast paced way of life anymore but there public transportation system is very reliable.

Breakfast is served. The diversity of this city is stunning. I haven’t met any caucasian since I came.
My airbnb host is Latino, the restaurant I had dinner last night was Arabian. This breakfast restaurant is also run by Arabs

I'm really enjoying your trip, though am not there with you but feel connected. Have a wonderful day and a great stay in NYC

This is actually my first time to New York. I have been living in the New England region for quite some time now and my popular route is New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. Today is my first time of leaving the New England area.
So my gist: After dropping from the bus, I had a tough time using the subway. The Address that the Airbnb host sent me was incomplete, the people I showed the address couldn’t make sense of the direction via Subway. Nevertheless, I entered the subway only to discover that I need a Metro Card to access the train. After wondering helplessly in the subway, a good Samaritan offered to use her card to give me the pass.
I entered the subway and started another round of rigmarole. The first train I entered took me to Manhattan, my Airbnb apartment is at Brooklyn.
I contacted the guy and after much explanation, I stopped at a particular train terminal and entered the right train in the proper direction. For the first time in my life I felt so clueless.
Clueless, I can imagine how u felt because we're feeling same since u leave us for here enter obodo Yankee, my broda, all our presidents just be like dat your agent, na so so dem dey carry us Waka for Sambisa subway upandan kiss

The public transportation is reliable but I spent too much time at n transportation. I went to bmcc when I was in NY, it always takes me 1hr 30min to get to school. Where as I only need 7 minutes walk to get to in Mankato. My current work is 15 miles from home and it only take 18 minutes drive. You do not want to live 15 miles away from work in NY, you be in the train as early as 6am.

So I got the metro card oo.,, bought 7 days unlimited Bus and Train pass for 33$

7days unlimited bus and train pass for just $33 undecided

Or do yhu mean $300? I probably need an explanation on how the bus/train pass card works.

Naija smh. And some people will be here trying hard to console themselves that it's cheaper to live in naija.
