You will have to get a residence permit that is older than 6 months to apply at the German embassy in Cotonou. To be honest, If you haven't been living there don't bother cos they know about the situation in Nigeria and are ready to extort.

Also, avoid going through corners cos you will only waste your time and money considering the recent Nigeria/Benin Buahaha

I will advise you to have another option regarding schooling. We have people from 2019 still waiting for the appointment dates here especially for Category B.

I have done legitimation, but the next step is to upload a supporting document, how will I get the supporting document (my visa application wasn't rejected, I didn't even get a date)

Yes, It's a great plan, however I'd like to point out to you that there might be more population over there in Ghana and some west African countries, believe me many Nigerians will troop in to these nearby countries, for residence permit and this might not work out the way you think it should...
If you can afford to move to Ukraine, UAE, Turkey etc you stand a better chance of going to Germany within a year's time...why? Because there are lesser people moving from there..

You'll definitely get a response soon, Uniassit is evaluating you docs.. Firstly they will email you about the status of the evaluation. If successful they forward you application to the school and the board makes their decision... Goodluck.

A private university might ask for deposit after they might have offered you admission and they give you time for that

However the website you posted looks like scam web, notice how it starts with ‘web.’ a copy to the main university website that starts with ‘www.’
Also the number that’s calling you have a UK dial code +44 instead of German which is +49

I think this is the correct link to the school site https://www.berlinsbi.com/admissions/postgraduate-application but then if it is truly the school then understand that this is applicable to most private uni, the non-refundable first deposit towards school fees or you can call it commitment fee
It is usually subtracted from the remainder of the school fees you need to pay
