I live alone and have for years now. Gone through these stage, there's always work to be done but when you're home as some point work or no work you will get bored.

For that I travel to see my peps anytime the opportunity presents itself and once football season arrives, will be out watching football whenever I can as I just did today watching community shield and arguing with other fans..

You’re right. I like that feeling of someone being around. Even if we aren’t talking but just knowing that I’m sharing the space with someone and hearing sounds others makes gives me some kind of comfort. That is why I stay in the office for as long as I can because most of the time, someone is in the space with me.

Though I get bored sometimes, but I'm always chatting with my crazy co-workers and friends online, watch movies, go out to watch football in viewing center instead of my house, club sometimes, read novels and invite friends home sometimes... They are hundreds of things to make you busy while bored...

How I cope with mine
I actually prefer being far away sha
I work,work,read anything and everything, download movies,watch YouTube video's on anything and many things,then treats ah ah,I give myself treats,take myself out,at times go out with a sibling,I prefer not to meet my friend's.
I pray,I read my Bible,I fill God in on my life
Then I regularly speak to someone pretty lovely I see as a Mentor.
Do I still get lonely at times?
Yes but it's pretty pretty rare and triggered by something's I know
Another thing is trying out new recipe's, trying out new foods

You’re right. The secret is being busy. Ok I’ll send a message. But I take work home sometimes hoping to keep busy but then I don’t do any work.

From a veteran....
1. Enjoy work and take some home
2. Get interested in professional developments/certifications....very time consuming
3. Fall in love with quora....you would read a lot of actually interesting real stories from real people who are mostly sensible
4. Love your sleep....lawddddd
5. Definitely have a boy that is allowed to call you from time to time....makes a lot more sense if he is several thousand miles away from you.
6. Find a dance school close to home....been trying to sort this cos a friend is having a blast learning salsa.

Church friends can come in handy as a way to cure your boredom. This has really helped me during my time in PH and now in Warri.
