After my interview with Nigeria info on Tuesday 2nd of August this year, I got on the next available flight ✈️ on Wednesday 3rd to Akwa Ibom from Lagos, which was an approximate journey of 50mins and it was successful.

After my arrival I moved to Uyo town where I spent the next few days visiting our farm project their and other related info including exploring the town, meh! Their hospitality was top notch from their foods accommodation wom*n life pattern, their markets, and including writes fruits , had a lot of coconut fruits water, Rambutan, musk melon seafood

On Saturday 8 of August I received my clearance that I could move towards Oron in AkwaIbom, being the reason I came to the state, ( the clearance means an Approval from the relevant persons or in some cases security details and the necessary the i and t that need to be dotted and crossed).

Now it is important to note that Oron cray fish market is a Sunday and Wednesday market, (with Sunday being the major market day). It is also import to note that the market is in the early morning for crayfish, noon for fish and afternoon for snails.

On Sunday the 8th of August we began to move towards Oron Akwa Ibom state. Located an appr of 55 km from Uyo toward the Atlantic Ocean and 30mins to Calabar by cassava (sorry I meant bush)

On our way this is Uyo town, with a fairly good network of roads, (I was told that their past government was headed by an architect)

In one of the pictures it show how a big mans car smashed another persons car but because the other has soldiers with him they began to intimidate him.

Finally we got to the junction that leads to the oro nation, if you continue on this road, it will lead you to the airport, while a turn to the right on this road will lead to Oro nation, here our journey begins .

Here is the entrance to Oro nation.

The Oro people are made of five different sub communities or groups (caution needed), amongst them are the Oron people, Okobo amongst others. And is lead by a chief.

Before getting to Oron town from Uyo it’s is important to note that you will pass through Okobo (which is also part of the Oron nation), and this is a brief history of the Oron nation.

Though much isn’t available about the town online, all I can say is that the town is a reach trading spot for seafood and other commodities from Cameroon, and is rich in serval mineral, including the availability of Govt hospital, Maritime College amongst other, and a museum.

What do you mean by fairly good roads?
