I was a POS operator, I was also robbed about 500k and shot…. Same Delta…ThankGod I didn’t die… I hvnt returned home since the accident. Believe me, it’s a scary thing.. I had to relocate
I really pity all of us (the youth) who are yet to hit the ground running..

POS business is a very risky business in Nigeria. Some one close might have hinted the arm robbers of the availability of such amount, or they have been marking him.

I support your views someone tip those robbers of that huge amount.

But the POS Operator was carrying so much money.

Why not limit it to N500,000.00 ( Five Hundred Thousand Naira ) per day

I keep advising anyone into this POS business. Sometimes pretend to customers that wants to send or receive huge amount that you don't have up to what they want to withdraw at the moment. Some are just agents of robbery and kidnapper surveyors..

I so much believe you're mentally sick! Government should ban a means of survival for self-employed people. Have you thought of the stress going to bank to withdraw or send money? Do you know the procedure concerning COVID protocol in the bank? The POS business is a fastest means to receive and send money urgently and for those who don't want to undergo bank stress

It's the same thing as going to other banks' ATM because they also charge you.

It's called convenience fee.

Maybe reselling of phone recharge cards should be banned as well since it's basically the same principle.

You obviously not a born again Christian or you are lazy with the scriptures. If you can regard those who offer legal and genuine service to people as "lazy" then it's obvious you're the lazy, since you can't take time to understand what pos is all about. And your statement depicts that of those lazy jobless weed smokers at the street corners looking for reasons to steal from people. The likes , of which, could have done this to this young man.

I know this dude. His mum lives close to me. Gosh! POS operators are becoming an endangered specie. That was how an innocent young girl was killed in Benin last year.
