I'm registered here and will be having my baby via Elective CS in few weeks. I was referred there by a friend, she had her baby via CS and she said the doctors are very good which I can attest to, I registered for antenatal since 12 weeks and I haven't had any complaint about the doctors. You will be in safe hands, I don't know how much it costs because I haven't asked.

I am 20 weeks gone.. But I have fibroids I want to get advice and also hear from people who have been in this condition.

Am currently 37 weeks and 3 days, wen I did my first scan I was told I had 2 fibroids, at time I was distabilised but with time I got over the fear because I never knew abt it till I got pregnant. But all I can tell u is it all depends on the positioning and prayers, although i was only admitted at 20weeks due to pains but I cant say if it was the fibroid or something else that triggered the pain, but with prayers I recover and continued my pregnancy journey cos am also a FTM and after that experience the severe pain didn't reoccur, although i went for antenatal this week and my gynea told me that due to the fibroid I cant go through virginal delivery because its blocking my cervix he even said penetration was in possible due to this same fibroid, but my dear am grateful to God that I conceived so i have been booked for Cs next week immediately i clock 38wks am just depending on God to take control, no one is easy fibroid or no fibroid. Some people have excess bleeding cos of the same fibroid but to the glory of God I never bleed In the course of this journey, so i will advice u pray more and let God take charge of the remaining, he started the journey he will bring it to a fruitful end for all of us, so be strong.

How are we all doing mamas? Am a little confused and I need clarification on some stuff.
My LMP was 22nd April 2021 and that means I should be 16wks gone and EDD should be around 29th Jan 2022.
Now, when I registered for ante natal sometime in June, I did a scan and I was told I was 13wks pregnant as at that time and EDD is give or take 2nd Jan 2022 going with the scan report, that means I should be 20wks now. My bump is more pronounced and am beginning to feel tiny fluttering in my lower pelvic.
I ll be going for another scan in 2wks time. I want to know if the early scan report is more accurate than lmp or sth.

I think you should stick to the LMP. When I went for scan at 11 weeks +, scan gave me 18th Dec., LMP says 11th, another scan at 18 weeks said 10th Dec., the gynea told me to go with d LMP bcs scan dates will keep changing as d pregnancy progresses.

Anugod:
If you're looking at the help handling chores around the house, then it'll be preferable to get a younger person, cos personally, I won't be so comfortable sending an older woman around on errands. An older person would be more inclined to handle baby with more care, but since you're not so comfortable with a stranger handling your baby, I'd suggest you go for a younger person who can run other errands for you... Just that teenagers usually come with plenty drama and boy issues. But then, they can be curtailed. And then again, who really doesn't have wahala?

My dear I knew I had Fibroid but I was glad God did it for me.. I got pregnant two months after discovering about the fibroid.
I didn't even treat anything and I was scared of operating it.
When I tested positive I was surprised..

My aunty too told me the same thing... She said the highest that will happen is for me to undergo cs. That I should be grateful it has not disturbed me and we are half way gone already.

Is it time yet to check for sex or I should wait momma?

My sonographer said it's from 20 weeks. Infact I was 17 weeks 6 days when the sonographer in my hospital told me it's like the baby is a girl but I should wait till 20 weeks for confirmation,only for baby to cross legs. I have done 60-70% shopping already so if the sex is seen now,I will still buy few things. I decided to buy very few wears until then.

lol, I took warm water first thing in the morning, drank plenty water, ate beans, it was too hard to push...I couldn't sit well too..my husband was so scared and worried, I couldn't sleep over night I kept running to the toilet to try....it finally came out this morning with a very big push I feel so relieved. But I will still try that drug.

Thank God. Bisacodyl has always saved me but when am pregnant,I don't take drugs without a doctor's prescription so I wasn't sure about the safety. If not,I have a whole sachet of it at home. Am a regular customer of constipation.
