Update your phone.

And if you had asked before this purchase I wouldn't have advised you on this variant.
Okay... it's already telling to update to miui 12 and it is 1.1gb...how much data will be able to download this update and which variant would you have adviced me to get

Have above 1.1GB.

IF you must buy RN9 4/128GB should have been better.

3GB RAM is too small for a note series especially knowing that MIUI was heavy

Go to playstore and download"hidden settings for miui", after installation click on manage application, click on the app you want to freeze then you will see "disable" then click it.
You will still need the app anytime you want to unfreeze the app by using the same procedure then click "enable". It works very well especially for unwanted pre installed app that cannot be uninstalled.

Note: Don't play anyhow around that app if you are not tech savvy to some extent just follow the instructions I gave you then exit before you start clicking anything on the app and damage your phone as the app exposes some hidden settings from your phone to you.
Thanks man

I just did a factory reset and it seems the problem still persists. I tried calling and taking a photo. The Phone restarted
Get an OTG USB flash, download the rom from another device, copy it into the external memory, put it in your phon, copy into internal memory and flash manually.

this is crazy i am asked to drop it and come back in 3weeks
Take your phone and go home, it will likely come up again. You can plug it to charge later and hold both power button and volume up, you might be lucky.

Since it's Redmi 9T, it's possible you left automatic update on, hence this issue.

Normal with customer care.

But there was something you could have tried. Allow the battery to drain then try turning it on.

from what I've read about this issue on redmi 9t so far, the phones do come up after about 24hours. Take your phone home and wait a while.

How do we correct this 24hrs power usage stats on miui12? It doesn't track the power usage beyond 24hrs. Or has an update fixed the issue?

I thought your phone battery doesn't last, how do you even get up to 24hrs ?

2020 results in 2021. You must be joking. It was a security app issue and has been fixed long ago.

Oga, It has not been fixed. Which MIUI version are you using?

12.5.6, Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Consider manually updating your security app.

I never faced the issue on my RN5 too

My Redmi9t isn’t coming on. Still used it till around 1am plug to charge and around 3am or so went to pick it but it’s off and been trying to on it till now but not coming on and it’s not even showing it’s charging when you plug charger. It’s just 2months old

I checked Gsmarena and saw loads of complains from users of Redmi 9T regarding this same issue. Xiaomi really goofed on this one. And from all the comments I read, it doesn't seem to have a straight forward solution for now because it is a software issue. Users will have to wait until the next update is rolled out.

Forget RN5, it is old and outdated. That was when the power usage stats was still accurate and reads from last full charge. Recent updates has messed things up.

Are you sure updating only the security app will do the trick?

I have done this and even did a hard reset too. The problem still remains. some apps are opening unlike before but I can not make or receive a phone call. if I try to access the contacts and dialer, it shows not responding then the device restarts.

It has always been like that on my RN9S since I've been using this phone. One day Xiaomi will reason the matter.

Can you access your settings and about page? If yes drop a screenshot.

If your bootloader was unlocked I would have suggested a flashing of the Fastboot ROM again.

It is so annoying bro.

Have you updated your security app to the latest version? I want to try it as suggested by one dude here but not sure if it will work.
