genius43:Okay... it's already telling to update to miui 12 and it is 1.1gb...how much data will be able to download this update and which variant would you have adviced me to get |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 12:00pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Bankyshinani: Have above 1.1GB. IF you must buy RN9 4/128GB should have been better. 3GB RAM is too small for a note series especially knowing that MIUI was heavy |

tomsniel:Get an OTG USB flash, download the rom from another device, copy it into the external memory, put it in your phon, copy into internal memory and flash manually. |

Yewandequeen:Take your phone and go home, it will likely come up again. You can plug it to charge later and hold both power button and volume up, you might be lucky. Since it's Redmi 9T, it's possible you left automatic update on, hence this issue. |

Gptech: How do I flash manually ? I mean the process |

genius43:allow battery drain how? How do i drain phone When it's not coming on. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Yewandequeen(f): 12:39pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Gptech:I did the aforementioned already but it didn't come on. I don't use auto update,I do manual and I don't update anyhow self. |

Yewandequeen:from what I've read about this issue on redmi 9t so far, the phones do come up after about 24hours. Take your phone home and wait a while. |

Jazzman01: I thought your phone battery doesn't last, how do you even get up to 24hrs ? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Jazzman01: 1:31pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
genius43: Oga, It has not been fixed. Which MIUI version are you using? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Jazzman01: 1:33pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Meister: On very light usage. And i also switch it off over night to save the useless Battery. 1 Like |

Jazzman01: 12.5.6, Redmi Note 10 Pro. Consider manually updating your security app. I never faced the issue on my RN5 too |

Yewandequeen: I checked Gsmarena and saw loads of complains from users of Redmi 9T regarding this same issue. Xiaomi really goofed on this one. And from all the comments I read, it doesn't seem to have a straight forward solution for now because it is a software issue. Users will have to wait until the next update is rolled out. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Jazzman01: 1:45pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
genius43: Forget RN5, it is old and outdated. That was when the power usage stats was still accurate and reads from last full charge. Recent updates has messed things up. Are you sure updating only the security app will do the trick? 1 Like |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 2:20pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
dazzy4real: Refresh, a lot of people have been on 12.5 for about a month |

Jazzman01: I asked for your own screenshot of the issue. If you don't have any, stop complaining or sell the phone |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by tomsniel(m): 3:25pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Gptech: I have done this and even did a hard reset too. The problem still remains. some apps are opening unlike before but I can not make or receive a phone call. if I try to access the contacts and dialer, it shows not responding then the device restarts. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Osyxcel(m): 3:57pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Jazzman01: It has always been like that on my RN9S since I've been using this phone. One day Xiaomi will reason the matter. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 4:01pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
tomsniel: Can you access your settings and about page? If yes drop a screenshot. If your bootloader was unlocked I would have suggested a flashing of the Fastboot ROM again. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Jazzman01: 4:02pm On Aug 14, 2021 |
Osyxcel: It is so annoying bro. Have you updated your security app to the latest version? I want to try it as suggested by one dude here but not sure if it will work. |
