My residence is filled with students. Truth is, it's always very neat and very quiet.

I don't know why I took this picture, but I am sure, the reason is that I want to compare the student waste disposal to the one in Nigeria.

It's always very neat and does not smell. Compared to UNN that if you are 100 meters away from it, you will already be perceiving the bad smell.

Lol, it depends.

France is not a congested country and Nantes is not a very busy and buzzling city.

If it's very hot, the french people will all be outside and you can see everywhere busy.

Now, it's vacation period and alot of people have travelled with their family.

Thanks bro. Yes, it's the French thing and also some schools also give enough stress.

If you are in the Grande Ecoles and/or Grande Ecole Engineering schools, you should expect a tough study time. And I can confirm with you that Centrale Nantes is one of the Grande Ecole Engineering School in France. Finished this year as the 4th best Engineering School in France.

I wish you all the best in your application. It's good to have a taste of the French Engineering programme. That way, you have a 'first-person' experience.

Is anyone allowed to touch the broken chair.

There's racism everywhere, even worst in Nigeria anyway.

In France, there's racism but you may not notice it. You will only observe it when people give you fake smile, fake friendship, fake everything. But it shouldn't bother you as it won't stop you from anything.

Naturally, the French are very conservative and want to mingle among themselves. If you want them, then you will have to force yourself on them. Most people won't do that, so they enjoy their company and don't care.
Am planning on going to France before year ends God willing, any advice, tips and pros and cons of there will be much appreciated boss, thanks.

On Thursday last week, I went to the kitchen to boil some hot water. The hot water that comes from the tap in the kitchen gets quick much faster.

In the kitchen, I met this Chinese babe. Asked if she can speak English and she responded in the affirmative. O boy, nah so gist take start. She was smiling, laughing and shinning her teeth as unleashed our Nigerian package on her.

She was in a French exchange program that will last for one year. She came last 2 weeks and baba oyoyo just land few days ago. Nah so I collect every identity about her, phone number, instagram, Facebook, etc.

Here, it's nothing, people really want to network. They find everyone friendly and opportunity to make new friends. The way they rush party here eeh, you will know that loneliness dey kill them. A system that encourages everyone to be on their own, so why won't they appreciate when someone wants to know them.

Me wey carry better binding energy land. I saw different kinds of babes with different structural and topographic build ups ( Shebi nah book I come read bah? Olodo like me, make I no come disappoint my sponsors oo grin grin grin grin)

Same day, she invited me to a gathering of Chinese people ( a small party), I declined immediately with few useless reasons. Before I go go chop snake mixed with cockroach (being funny anyway).

She was such a happy babe and with the way we are going, babe is already planning to come to 9ja when she completes her studies shocked shocked shocked shocked cheesy cheesy

Pictures of our street night view. I think they are very conservative with everything they do here including the lights. lol.

Good night and see you guys tomorrow

You write so well… but u don call yourself olodo pass 3 times… so whining u day whine us cheesy cheesy cheesy

The response to your question have been answered above in details (I guess).

To give a high level response: Yes to both of them.

Most public schools in France are tuition free. However, my school is a public school but classified as an Elite schools called Grande Ecole. The French has some public schools with free tuition fee and then some Elite Schools with tuition fee. For my school, it's 22k euros for masters. 12k euros/year.

I am under scholarship and also got a scholarship in the school as one of the best M.Sc applicants. I think they pick one from every department and give 6k euros scholarship that comes as a tuition waiver. I got that and it only goes to my sponsors. Wish there's a way I can get that money. My guys dey wait for me for Ogbete main market. I no fit disappoint them.

My point is, make a good choice depending on your program sponsorship. *If you are self sponsored, know where to go. *

Warm regards

Pls I’m planning on self sponsoring myself to study in France and I’m looking at early next year… pls can u help me with cheap schools/ cheap deposit for February intake in France… thanks

There are alot of public universities in France. Just google them bro. Depending on your course of study, these schools are cheap though I learned they are changing their prices for international students but you can check them out.

I may not be specific with the schools as I didn't have the chance to look for cheap schools nor was I in charge of making my school fees. My school is one of the grande ecoles schools in France and it's expensive. PTDF paid 12k euros/year.

I am sure you will see alot of schools. One that is most common is University of Grenoble. It's very cheap.

Well, I think the general tip for anyone going to France is to learn how to speak French. You will also learn how to leave in a country that is not yours, so you have to respect their rules, take some stuff/sh.it from some people because obviously it's not your country.

But to be most specific, and depending on your course of study, learn how to work with Linux Operating System and get a basic knowledge of any programming language.

When you get to France, try to observe how the French answer exam questions. Their grading system is over 20, and you need to be very careful with this. Because even if you get 10,11/20, they will tell you that you did very well but this is your GP going down, but to them it's a good grade self. Lol.

How is everyone doing?

It's been a long time I posted on this thread.

As you may know, I am back to the country since end of August and have been with work and other engagements.

Maybe I will take a little time to narrate my return experience.

Do I miss anything in France? Maybe the clean air and security.

How are you all doing?

We're anticipating for your next write up bro. You're really a motivation.
.
And I wouldn't know if this would be the right thread to post this.
.
Reading from one of your previous post on 'writing on Fiverr', I got motivated and research what content writing is all about.
.
Writing has been my thing, and despite that I keep on improving myself on it. Not to prevaricate, I have no problem in writing any article at all.
.
But what seems as an impediment to me was the case of 'seo'.

When I visited Fiverr to go look at some other writers and their profile. I realize that most of them often say that they write seo article & blogpost. Infact majority of them do garnish their profile with the tag "seo writer".
.
But here i am with zero knowledge in Seo. Though I tried my best to get some fact about it on Google, but I realize it is a very vast niche, Which according to some expert can take months to learn.
I felt discouraged at that. But I often think that maybe, probably I'm not getting something right.
.
Well, what I'm trying to ask is that can I start my freelance writing job with no knowledge of seo.
If yes, how do I go about it considering those so called seo writer I'll be competing with.
And if no, how do I go about the seo of a thing.
.
Can you please outline some tips that helps you.
....
Sorry, my post is getting longer. I don't intend to do so.
.
.
Can you also help me send some article or blogpost samples you've done before. Cos I have no experience of the format I'll use in writing the article. Would I just write directly like I write an essay?
.
And lest I forget, can you recommend some software to have in handy as a writer.
Also, is it good to paraphrase written articles or one must do it creatively(which is time consuming).
Just tell me the ways you get your things done easily and smartly.
.
Pls I'll be very grateful if you could reply me and give me any useful tips that can help me be successful at this.
Thank u!

Sorry guys,

I was down with Malaria and Catarrh, the current general sickness and was unable to update the thread as I promised.

Good a thing, I am much better now and I can update you guys about my experience since I came back to the country.

So let's go.
Re: My France Picture Gallery by mrphysics(m): 4:22pm On Dec 19, 2021
The day was 12th August 2021 as I alighted from the Turkish Airline, a connecting Flight that took us from Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport. I was excited to atleast come back home and meet my people after 2 years.

Immediately I stepped out of the plane, the air around felt very warm, I looked around and the air wasn't as clear as what I am used to in the last 2 years. I also perceived some bad air around and I knew I was back to the country.

We walked into the Port of Entry (PoE) and was greeted by some neutral looking officials. I used the word neutral because you could feel they wanted to ask for money but could not perhaps someone somewhere is watching them. They were not happy neither were they sad, they just forced themselves to do their job. No one asked for money from me, not even as I gift and I didn't give anything to anyone.

Stepped out of the Airport and being the environment I was used to before I left, I met with lots of Airport Taxi guys who were doing everything they can to drill a hole out of your pocket. Well, and sadly, this was the beginning of my problem for the next one month.

As I prepared to return to the country, I had to make some hard choices. First of all, I didn't tell anyone save family that I was coming back. This was to avoid unnecessary advices from people who would discourage you from coming back but also fail to give you money to stay back and continue your life.

I had over 1 month to the expiration of my Visa, I also had the option of extending it to one year. Now, the scholarship will end August 31st 2021, from then onwards, you are on your own. My accommodation will also expire by August 31st 2021, same with almost everything. If you must continue to stay, then you must get something doing. I decided to come back. Friends over there offered to share their accommodation with them, well, as good as it sounds, I hate inconveniencing anyone. And again, I understand how it works; you stay one to two weeks and then they realize you are a burden to them.

The Nuclear Industry was the deal breaker. It's the table upon which I took my decision. The only option available was finding a PhD. It's extremely difficult to find a job in the nuclear industry without a PhD and even with a PhD, it's still very difficult. Now in France, most jobs require you to have background in same field, except you are going for the low hanging jobs like food delivery, cleaning, workshop, farm, etc. which I knew I can't do.

I weighed everything on an imaginary weighing balancing and decided to come back to this country to meet you guys embarassed embarassed
