We woke up to this whitish, soft, and lovely water particles flying around, reaching to cover the black tarred roads with it's colour. The goal was achieved, atlas it was snowing in Nantes.
Two things happened today in Nantes, the French president visited Nantes and they blocked some roads. It turned out that he was to pass my residence and very early while I rushed to meet a friend who's returning back to Nigeria, the entire tramstop was filled with police. Movement was restricted too.

The temperature was negative 3 degrees in the morning but forecast app/sites confirmed it felt like -9. It was freezingly cold, then came the Snows.

I read from a post that this is the first time it's snowing in Nantes in 30 years. While I can't immediately confirm this piece of data, I accepted it. Nantes is know to be the Rain city of France. It rains almost on daily basis during winter. Today, it disappointed everyone, including itself and didn't rain.

Did everyone enjoy the Snow? absolutely yes.

Being the first time, most people I met outside said they received a call from their friends in different city that it was going to Snow in Nantes. White, black, and colourless individuals were outside taking pictures, throwing snow balls on themselves, and enjoying the rare moment.

It started gradually and before you know it, it compelled everything to assume it's colour - White.

They said it rarely snow in Nantes - today was the "Rare" day

Of everything to write on a snow, what came to the mind of these white folks is:

As it snowed, I accompanied someone to visit his friend. We took hot tea and took a walk in the woods.

So, the streets are covered

Weather forecast predicts it will snow tomorrow again.

It seems we are in end times

The second pics was when we were about entering the woods.

It was just snowing lightly as we walked into the woods. It later increased its intensity.

On the video part. I don't think you can upload video directly on nairaland. I doubt if there database can carry the size. It might slow or crash it.

However, you can create a YouTube account, then upload the video to YouTube, which you will embed the link on nairaland.

So when you're playing the video, it's coming from YouTube database but showing on nairaland.

From your analysis, NPP will be very efficient from this stale method Nigeria is using to generate power.

I will like to know your thoughts on Wind Turbine & Solar System if those can also be implemented since they won't be costly like NPP

I read somewhere, last year or so where Germany or one European country were begging & willing to pay their citizens to use power because it was too much.

you know that some scholarship will mandate it for you to go back to your home country after your programme. so, is the ptdf also like that. or other words, can they permit one to stay and apply for poststudy visa?

In principle, we signed a document called "Bond" which requires you to come back upon completion of your studies. In reality, no one expect you to come back if you find other opportunities.
I would like to assume that even the president does not expect you to come back if you have something doing upon completion of your studies.

So if you find perhaps a Ph.D or Post Doc, then you are encouraged to continue.

PTDF scholarship is not a strict scholarship, it's very flexible.

Masters programme in Europe is 2 years.

This includes 18 months academic activities and 5-6 months internship. I have concluded the 18 months academic activities on 10th of February.
I am currently doing my internship. The report of your internship is the masters thesis.

In UK, I think it's 6 months academic activities and 6 months research (same as internship). Or combined, I don't know exactly how it's divided.
