Bro,that car is a subcompact sedan, not really suitable for inter state or highway travels.
It was made to be economical and ideal for short city trips.

Dont go and make 40k,and incur over 60k maintenance fee.

so i was on buying a car ....someone i don't know called me from here that he works with Road safety, and he can help me process my drivers license, we agreed on 40k, i sent the money to him so from there we started talking ....when i bought my car ,i needed change of ownership and new pappers for the car to be clean on the road , he requested for 45k and i just paid him that too....... but since then is over a month now ,is from one story to another ,because i am not in lagos and i don't want to waste my money coming to lagos and it will be that the things are not ready ...i asked about the documents and the new plate number ,he told me they are ready, i asked him to snap them pictures and send to me so i can be sure the whole thing is ready, since then is from one story to another........i want you guys to reason with me on this ,what could be going on, is it a Scam?

For car documents, the only person I can vouch for here is Pattybf. You don't even need to meet before shoe does your docs for you. Any other person, then please I can't say. What's the person's name?

That your car will go to sokoto and come back no Wahala so far your cooling system and oil pump is working well. If you’re going to delta then you’d not encounter bad roads on your journey so I suggest you take the contract and cash out so far you know your way.

One state in usa is bigger than Nigeria and folks there drive to and from work covering an average of almost 70-100 miles or more daily racking up mileage before selling it off as tokumbo to us here in Nigeria.

Then you’re afraid of taking same car on a 200 kilometer journey just because you feel your car has a small stature?

Even 1950’s Volkswagen Beetle goes from Lagos to east and back that year no Wahala. Come remain 2010 Kia Rio

So you finally fell for them. Why didn't you seek advise here or verify the person Monika before starting sending money to him/her. Sorry Bro, only the FBI/CID/CIA members can help you.

People who underrated such cars are the below types:

“I be driver - I Sabi drive - I don dey drive siiince 10 years” . . . Yet dem nor dey near highway lie lie

Even air cooled engine Volkswagen Beetle, Okada and Keke napep will travel highway journeys no Wahala.

Almost everyone of us here drives, which also means everyone of us have a drivers license. The least you could have done was to ask for a link and we would have assisted. I remember someone here always mentions one patty B.

I don laugh roll for floor

We are discussing something serious here, how to get a scammer or refunds.

Why would u start by saying almost everyone of us here drives? You and I know that it’s only one person that learnt how to drive at old age and doesn’t still know how to drive till.

Plsss don’t derail the thread now.

Abeg why is bolt not transparent with their rating. All of a sudden my regular 4.8 dropped drastically to 4.5 and my car is in very good condition plus wasn’t doing anything out of my usual methods, got the ban and served it. I resumed today and did only 3 trips where I was tipped twice, checked my rating and it had dropped to 4.47. Na so I vex start to go house angry . See my correspondence with bolt on this issue

Of course, it's very much lenient. Only problem is that it means the one we see on the app is not very useful.

So lets always watch the one on the dashboard, maintain it within limit and we will never fallout on the invisible one if it exists.
Cos the one on the dashboard is tougher, so It is very useful as a guide. Assuming there is an invisible one which they use to hack drivers.

The uber11 guy is not even smart at all.

How would somebody you don't know contact you on the phone and told you he'll do driver's license for you and you went ahead to send 40k to him?

1) do they do captioning for people?
2) how much is drivers license that one would agree to pay 40k for?
3) you suspect you've been scammed instead of you to first wait to arrive Lagos then try trace the person and if not fruitful then you blow up his cover but no, you already blow up his cover even while being far away.

This is just like the case of a police blowing syren from their station down to a robbery scene, won't the robbery gang run away before they arrive?

The annoying part is, he doesn't want to mention the persons name.

These are the reasons izzuo always advise against putting up personal phone number(s) on cyber space because these yahoo boys can take advantage of it.

Going forward only respond to people that DM me from here for one or two reason i will only release my mobile number to them if need be especially those that have never made any comment here before.

Apparently many people here have transacted one business or the other without meeting the supplier or even verifying before exchanging cash. So lets not crucify the guy, he was just unlucky.

@ Pearl1910 and kanuisagoat please look closely at the last paragraph from the correspondent responds to the op... What do you understand from it?

"The more trips you accept and complete the higher it goes and the fewer trips you accept the lower it goes."

Meaning, you have to either cancel or don't accept some trip request for you to accept fewer trips na

But cancelled trip are said not to count, What kind of a contradicting statement is that?

That statement was made in relation to activity score not ratings....read the conclusion in the image he posted

what the correspondence meant is : the more trip you accept and complete, increases your activity score while the opposite happens when you complete less trips or have high cancellation rate.

Naso my brother...the highest km trip one can get on a one way trip is 60km + but less than 75km and most drivers will turn it down...because its always a long journey to a very bad area....except you got the trip in a very bad area to a good one...

E.g most drivers will turn down a trip from the island to badagry just because of the state of the road..... And that's the highest km trip one can get within Lagos I think.
