IDENNAA:
Achebe and Chimamanda's books has been translated more than any other book written by an African. Did you say quality huh

Oga , the war dealt a devastating blow to the Igbo confidence but we are getting back to the game and this time we are taking everything and more!
But why did your Achebe not win the highest honour in the literary world na?
Re: Ndoki, Bonny, Opobo by Liebermantic:

Lol, Achebe that finally died bitterly and miserably after years of being heartbroken that he couldn't win the Nobel Prize (the highest honour in the literary world) that a "failed writer" like Soyinka won? Lmao.
How many years was Achebe before his death?
Achebe's " There was a country" has sold over million copies overseas... People are learning and appreciating his side of stories of the Civil war..
Now the Civil war is over, what noticeable difference in wealth does your tribe have over Ndigbo?
Just tell me Just 1

What exactly is wrong with being dark skinned? And, which group of light skinned people are you talking about? You mean a group of light skinned people like Zik, Achebe, Francis Obikwelu, Mr. Ibu, Obi Cubana, Ikpeazu etc? Why do you Eboes hate your dark skinned people so much when vast majority of you are dark skinned? Smh.
The people you listed, Obi Cubana, Mr Ibu, Ikpeazụ Etc are like albino to you people

See this one that is celebrating certificate of slavery. Now I know that you are an Afonja because only Afonjas celebrate slavery.
Them no born any white man well to give accolades to a man like Achebe that challenged the god status they portrayed to black humanoids like Afonjas.
Thats why Africans revered to Achebe as the father of Modern African literature because he wrote like a man and spoke against white people like a man he is. Not glorifying them like your writers.
No be today Ndigbo started challenging black people's gods in human form
So, the Nobel Prize in Literature is a "certificate of slavery" just because your Eboe brother couldn't win it? Lmao, Eboes and their psychosis.

Newton85:

There are millions of writers who were not celebrated or are yet to be awarded the Prize... Winning Nobel prize isn't the only criterion of success in literature..There are other awards out there which Achebe Won that Wole Soyinka didn't win..
Again,Nobel prize is a political award...
Obama even won it on peace...Lol...Soon, Buhari will be nominated for prize on peace

Gosh, Achebe's "Things Fall apart" has sold over 100 million copies and translated into Over 100 languages..Which Book , written by the Cultist Wole Soyinka has sold up to 50 million copies?
Our High institutions are battling with Cultism, thanks to Wole Soyinka...
Ask Any African apart from Your ugly tribe who the Most, learned, celebrated and famous African Literary giant is
don't cry
whether 1billion copies or 200 zillion copies
no eboe has won a Nobel laureate

When someone say Ibe means "Ibegbuam" and another says "ibeabuchi" does that make the meaning false?
I wonder who gave a swampian the impetus to judge the originality of great Igbo name BTW.
Azikiwe means whatever I or IDENNAA said.

Only slaves bask in the praise of their masters.

You're crazy..

Ebere, not Ebiere
Ibe can mean anything but is mostly borne by Ndigbo..Ibe means Neighbor or colleague in Igbo..What does it mean in Ijaw?
Ibe is a short form of Ibeabuchi, Ibegbunam, Ibeabuiro, Ibeakalam, Ibebuenyi, Ibebukwu..and they all have meanings..
Ijaw the Whites described as "Savages"..
Igbos stop answering Ijaw names oo......

The man that Nigeria blamed the Coup and every uprising on?
No matter how you put it, no African can match Achebes legacy.
Is it not his "There was a country" that is still tormenting your Nigeria?

Tell me one major effect or minor effect that was attributed to the influence of Whole Soyinka or any Nigerian authors literal work/book apart from Achebe and Uthman Dan Fodio?

The only person that can be compared to Achebe in this God forsaken Contraption is late Uthman Dan Fodio

Still doesn't detract from the fact that he died miserably after years of being embittered that he couldn't win the highest honour in Litearture. Did you just claim There Was a Country has sold 15 million copies? Chai! Another IPOB liar spotted! Must you Eboes cook up spurious lies all the time? Na wa oh!

one of the reasons why Soyinka is respected is he wrote poems, prose, comedy, plays and was spectacular in all

Achebe only wrote prose
see?
Soyinka has no cotender
Achebe's reputation was injured by the twisted account of the Biafran war
Achebe wrote Prose and poems..
It's not about writing in all Genres but making an impact..
How many people have ever heard or read his books?
The last book of Achebe is more popular than the best-selling work of Wole Soyinka

Answer my question na.
A big commulation of lies that was capable of changing the flow of black peoples history.
As usual you rely on the Opinion of your white God "Frederick Forsyth"
Achebe challenged all of them and wrote books that will forever change the way black people see them forever (Things fall apart)

What!? Nigeria blamed the coup on Achebe? Are you alright at all? You want to compare Achebe to Soyinka in Civil rights and activism? Are you for real The same Soyinka that went to prison because of your Biafra? Same Soyinka that ferociously opposed Nigeria's military junta till he was forced into exile? The same Soyinka that played a yeoman's role and was the figurehead of the group that fought vehemently to have Goodluck Jonathan installed as Nigeria's President after the Northern cabal wanted to circumvent the constitution after the absence and demise of Yar'adua? You're a monumental clown!
