I see people kicking against some church rules in the future and I see my people going back to their normal life style because the church could not provide lasting solution to their predicament and I see church manipulations in the name of serving God ending soon!

My brother don't allow man made doctrine to finish you, kindly run for your life and thank God that you've not entered 40, you know now? "A fool at 40 is a fool forever."

I can understand your situation young man, but I will like you to to understand these fact

1. There is a wife attached to you with patience you will get the right one.

2. You are not the only one eyeing that sister, I can tell you categorically that someone faster than you has presented his case before you. And you will not be permitted to intrude for now.

3. If truly you are spirit filled and have prayed well to know for sure , that the lady in question is THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOU. You will eventually marry her.

4. I am afraid you have idolized her to an extent you are now agitated of losing her, and you are even talking as if you are depressed. This ought not to be.

5. How are you sure that the lady will prefer you. She might have prayed and find THE WILL OF GOD. And she wil not trade it off for your beauty or wealth.

6. God may not want you to go into marriage with that lady by obstructing it. HE SEE THE END FROM THE BEGINNING

My great breakthrough from being a mere Pentecostal Christian came from when I applied KENNETH COPELAND'S Testimony of ORAL ROBERTS.

That's exactly what I went through while with that church. I never knew how to approach a lady up to 30. even when I tried that marriage committee, they delayed me till I become 35. until I took a bold step and left the church. . I wouldn't want to narrate all of that now.

The doctrines you spoke about, do you even know then at all. Aren't they biblical doctrines? Except you do not know what you speak of.

I believe all my pastor teaches as a man of God. His sermon notes are made available in the public sphere, every sentence backed up with the relevant bible verse. Every week he gives opportunity for members to ask questions. If any body gets it wrong, it is those who have never been there but stay outside and make conclusions and form an opinion on what they know little or nothing about.

Back to op, he's just a church goer, parent follower that does not understand God or the church he worships at. At 35 that's a very big shame on him.

That is if the story is true, because it's not uncommon for folks here to throw up names of popular pastor and politicians just to catch cruise.

I rest my case, you are free to believe whatever you want. The church of God is marching on, and the gates of hell cannot prevail.

With the multitude that throng the church and follow it's teaching worldwide, ops comment is just one of those who's parent have so failed in making them see for themselves why they attend a particular church. He has not discovered himself.

That verse Her 17:5 translates, cursed be the man that trust in man.
God doesn't want robots. He doesn't want slaves. He wants a family. Controlling the will of man is manipulation which is a sign of witchcraft. He only advices men to chose good over evil just like He spoke through Moses,telling the pros there are two options before them, life and death, advising them to chose life so they can live. If he controls the will of men, man wouldn't have left Eden, there wouldn't be a reason for judgement because He would have made us do what is right from the beginning of our lives.

1. Going by the context of what op said. One can deduce he's after a romantic that will ultimately turn relationship. That's not what God wants.
He can't say there is no female he talks with in his neighborhood, or female church members that call him brother and likes being around him. Of course, there is. And he might even be good friends with a few.

They didn't add or remove anything from the teachings of the bible. They never told him the rule is in the bible. It's just a guiding rule separate on its own, to help people follow the path of holiness. Which is what God wants us to do.
Okay, do you know it's possible that the op would have had an insanely high immorality score at his age if not for the rule.

2. No. His faith is not in doctrine and traditions, but in God. He wouldn't even be in the church in the first place, and won't observe those rules if not that he's trying to obey him maker.
It was his faith in Him that brought and kept him in church for 35yrs. If not he would have left long ago because the church won't do anything.

As for the verse you quoted. Christ was talking about traditions of men that has almost no bearing with God's will. It's not in the same category with the one the op talks of.

3. Again, they didn't insert anything to God's commandment. God said we shouldn't engage in unholy affair with the opposite sex, and their rule said the man should not get the chance of getting involved in such affair. For the fear that he might fall into sin.
How does this two rules conflict again?

What your church committees committee is akin to what the serpent did in the garden of Eden...insert itself between God and man and assuming the role of interpretation of God's Law to man. That is the main sin for which the serpent was punished for in the garden of Eden.

Your committee adds its own rules in to God's Law when it inserts itself between God and man carrying out God's commandment. That is a sin. undecided

And those who submit to the interpretation of God's Law given them by your committee, or any other committee or man, also commit sin against God in much the same way that Adam and Eve did by listening to the serpent instead of God directly. undecided

2. He clearly declared that his faith, like that of many of you who also submit to and obey the doctrines and traditions of your churches is in your churches and the pastors and not in Jesus Christ. undecided

Jesus Christ said you cannot have two masters. The one who is Master over you is the one you submit to and obey. The OP already confessed to the church being his master since he states he has been submitting to and obeying the doctrines and traditions of his church and the pastors since childhood. 3. Jesus Christ, God's New Covenant, never said any of that to you. He told His followers instead that when a man lusts after a woman in his heart, he has committed adultery ...sin. Jesus Christ never said that it is when you engage in what you term as unholy sexual acts that you have sinned. Ofcourse, the reason you don't know this is between you submit and obey church doctrines and traditions, rather than to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, the standard by which those who claim to be of Him will be judged. undecided

Again, you cannot live in submission to the rules of men and at the same time belong to God.... it is impossible. Jesus Christ made this very clear to His followers when He declared that in the Kingdom of God, He alone is Teacher, Master/Head, Shepherd, Leader and authority, Guide, Helper etc., to each and every one who belongs to Him. He condemned all hope who would try to sit in His place over any of those who belongs to Him. 1. The Old Covenant Law of Moses is an agreement God made between Himself and those who are born with the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins and the Land of Canaan - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20 undecided

What that means is that any Gentile pretending to live according to the Old Covenant Law of Moses, does so in vain and against God's very own decree. God will never give to the gentiles that which He has given only to His people Israel. undecided

2. Jesus Christ, God's New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God, is the agreement that God has made between Himself and individuals- not groups, churches or nations - who will choose to believe in Him. Jesus Christ is Master over all those who will submit to and obey His teachings and commandments. 3. Any man who submit to the doctrines and traditions of men/churches/mogs/this world etc., puts his trust in other men, and makes flesh and blood his strength.
