I quoted in the request that I was happy to pay. I am actually more comfortable paying double of what an airbnb would charge for him to stay with a Nigerian for that first week.
I never stated that it was free

Thanks anyways. I will try to look for an airbnb for him.

Honestly, getting someone to accommodate a total stranger isn't easy, especially with Covid again. Anyways, I can pick him up from the airport to the airbnb.
I know it can be lonely not knowing anyone in a new country.

Sadly, I don't live in Calgary. I'd have offered to pick him up and probably house him without your paying. If he has to come to Edmonton until end of August, let me know.

Hello guys.

To change your USD to CAD here in Canada, is banking hall the best place to do so? Or there are other platforms?

Hello everyone,

Special greetings to the gurus in the house.
I am in dire need of assistance. Here is a background story.

So I graduated with a CGPA of 4.02 from the department of petroleum engineering (B.Engr.). I just concluded my NYSC service this year 2021 and I have no work experience.
I would love to further my education in Canada through P.G program in a lucrative engineering field in which employment opportunities are not a difficult task in terms of securing one. I also don't want to further my education strictly on the path of petroleum engineering.
I have been able to secure my transcript from my school and have also gotten it verified by WES.

*HERE ARE MY PROBLEMS*
• I don't know what course to go after.
• I don't know the schools that are still open for admission for 2022 academic year.

I was told that colleges are preferable if you are looking to try to gain experience (especially through Co-op)but I don't know which colleges that can offer me that opportunities right now. My admission process is sponsored by a relation who says I have to find a school for 2022 section or I won't be sponsored again.
I was directed to this trend to find information in regards to lucrative engineering jobs with high employment rates.
Please any one who can help me out in anyway is highly appreciated. Please every advice and directions I can get would be helpful.

Thank you all and God bless.

you cannot skip G1. With driving history you do G1, and move to G. If you fail the G, you get moved to G2 test. There is an email in that link https://www.nairaland.com/4933819/living-canada-life-canadian-immigrant/443#99878131

Hi,

AirCanada just checked me in with an expired COPR & PRV. I couldn’t check-in with expired documents on there website. Had to do a marathon to the airport to sort it out. I’m ready to hop on the plane.

And yes, if you’re traveling from America with expired COPR/PRV - you can. Book that flight now!!!!!

My PR was confirmed in Montreal Airport with expired COPR & PRV. It took them like 1hr to clear me. Apparently, the CBS officer was not aware of the rule. He had to call & email IRCC.

Cheers!

Hey,

Except you are traveling from the USA then your can with an expired COPR.

However, from other countries, you have to be reissued.

Why don't you get an airbnb for one or two week(s)? You can start searching before you land, but wait to land before concluding and signing your lease.
