If you plan to use it on Ali don't lock up your money

Just love our Speedaf.

Order date: 26th July

Delivered: 17th August

No long story. No charges. No "Anything for the boys?" Just pure service. grin

That is another shocker for me, aswear. The first time I encountered them, they had two parcels that will attract 500 naira each (total of 1k) in NIPOST charges for me. They called that they are on their way to my workplace (the delivery address). I was like what dá hell? And being already used to NIPOST's "Come to our office to pick up" policy, I simply told them that they should not bother but just give me their office address jẹ́jẹ́, lemme come and pick my package myself before they start giving me stories like we couldn't locate you and had to put it in "returns". Ọmọ, they insisted o, and find me they did. I only needed to provide a means of identification and that was it.

Okay, I checked the package and no price was scribbled on it (like NIPOST does). I was now looking at the mouth of the delivery man if he would say "oga, you have to pay charges". But disappointedly shocked was I when after I thanked him, he too thanked me, turned and walked away. Along with some guilt questioning myself if I should have given him something, I also kept wondering that this tracking is definitely not DHL's or its likes (even those ones still throw decorum to the winds and shamelessly ask something for the boys), so I kept arguing with myself say wetin dey, who be these guys?

Three more parcels after that they called again, but I insisted it must be in their office, which is of course a ploy to satisfy my curiousity. They had their signboard along the main trunk A road, but you needed to branch off and drive about five NEPA poles in-street on an untarred, barely motorable road to get to their designated location. I guess they couldn't find an office beside the main road or perhaps it was too expensive. The building is your regular three or maybe two bedroom apartment with a toilet and bathroom to serve all. The sitting room/palour was adapted as the office. The office was very bare save a work table and a chair both placed a little off-centre of the room. The barebone appearance of the place is apparently because it was recently rented and construction and building refurbishments works were visibly on-going. The room also had a sitting bench for clients placed against the wall by the entrance.

I discovered they are a Chinese company with subsidiaries across Nigeria, they not only ship into Nigeria from China but vice versa. The few minutes I was there, they made about one or two calls to Lagos in follow up of different items that people are shipping from Nigeria to the outside. Few clients came in to collect footwears (which surprisingly the speedaf agent herself does not even know how to go about ordering on AE and got some insight from the client). No charges were collected from anyone. They use apps on their mobile phones for their process of items arrival to item collection perhaps until such time the rehabilitation and construction works in the building are completed and they can set up good office space where they can use larger gadgets like computers and the likes. Upon arrival of items, they use their phones to scan the QR code on the package and according to them, a message is automatically generated and sent to the recipient's email address notifying them of the arrival of the item. They also place phone calls to the recipient. Then when the he/she comes to collect it, they either scan the QR code or enter some information about the package on their mobile phone app and then it's handed over to the the individual.

There were stacks of bags in one corner of the room and I was told they are returns of items that recipients rejected (not that recipients couldn't be located). They are shoes and clothing, mostly shoes, that had wrong sizes sent. When I inquired why mostly shoes, they responded that there is a shoe merchant in China that recently adopted "speedaf" as the sole logistics agent because of the reliability and that more sellers will likely adopt them in the coming weeks.

You have reached monthly 100usd cumulative limit spending on your debit card as allowed by your bank (most banks nowadays because of dollar crunch, they say) . You have to wait till the beginning of a new month to have access to another 100usd.

Note that the "counting" does not take into cognizance failed transactions due to either entering in a wrong CVV2, debit card expiry date, cancelled orders after payment or failed payments due to internet network glitch. Once you type in the amount and click on "pay", it is already recorded that you have used that amount out of your monthly cumulative.

So even if you type in 98usd and click on "pay" tab and by a bad stroke of luck, the internet network goes bad that moment, thereby affecting the verification/confirmation of your payment by AE, that 98usd is already counted against you and you have only 2usd left for the month. Even if your bank is so efficient and instantly executes a reversal of your funds (instant reversal is very rare) back due to failed transaction, that amount is already counted as used.

Yep. Maybe at the port of entry but definitely in Nigeria. And going by that logo, your logistics is "Speedaf" and of course that explains the fast transit. Dispatched on the 14th and already in the country by 21st, implying that it got to Nigeria within 7 days after the seller shipped. So you should expect to get your item soon.

Nope too expensive. Either add money and buy the Motion+ from AE or buy the soundcore boost, Flare 2 or Soundcore 3 from AE

Bro, as sales commence tomorrow, I'm confused between Soundcore 3 and Soundcore boost.. which will you recommend?

Soundcore boost, though the Soundcore 3 is more recent. You can head to YouTube and check for comparisons between both

That is their logo right there, although the actual colour is not blue but red, àbí shey na orange dem dey call that colour.

Also their tracking starts with NG, as you observed. Their tracking is not yet entered in the mainstream tracking databases like track24 or 17track. I have tried to update these providers with information on the existence of "speedaf" with possibly I clouding it in their database. You can do that thru the track24 app.

I've picked in their office too. It's along my way home and I wanted to reduce the drive to my place. Still they handed over my items without "anything for the boys?" which is the usual lingo in PO and other public service. I also saw loads of packages yet to be delivered on their offices. Very soon every AE seller will know that Speedaf is the way to go. It's been a while I visited the PO, most of em may think I no longer buy things, most things I've bought so far now goes via the Speedaf route, luckily for me, that's a route I approve grin

You can track on cainaio website till it gets to Nigeria then Speedaf takes over.

Sad but true

Update: after my items got to Nigeria as shown on the tracker and got delayed for more than 2 weeks by the PO (ikeja Post office). They finally came to deliver one of the items to my delivery address on Friday free of charge and promised to deliver the second one once they get it.
