Quick Thoughts:

Many people are panicking about their tarried applications. What made it more worrisome is the Fall 2021 resumption approaching very fast.

NSCC has only Fall admissions, which means I can only defer to the next Fall.

Can you recommend schools that admit every season, defer from Fall to Winter... Postgraduate In Human Resource Management.

Those copies are to aid to demonstrate to the VO that you have family ties in Nigeria. It's not compulsory but it's advised to add to your app.
Just use your secondary school leaving certificate. It's straight forward. If you have no gaps. you might not even need an SOP as I said previously it's not compulsory but it's advised.

Good day house.

I was going through the thread and previous post but I have a couple of questions. Please can anyone help me clarify?

What's the importance of including copies of International Passport Bio data page of Applicant’s Family Members OR Birth certificates (Parents and Siblings) to my application?

Secondly, I am going for my undergraduate, do I need to include a resume? When I have just my secondary certificate and I haven't been employed.

Yes its real. I got a loan offer of 25k for Carleton uni and I'm Nigerian...

To be qualified for a loan, you'll have to be admitted into one of their affiliated (I mean schools they support) schools

Thanks

I recently tried to make payment through form A to Conestoga college using Western Union International Student pay solution through first bank. The payment was declined. I was informed by First Bank that they can not make payment to third party that the payment has to go to the school directly.

Has anyone encountered similar issue and what is the way out please?

I used UBA on a Tuesday and was debited on Wednesday. Telex copy on Thursday or so. Western Union paid school same day.

Hello guys

If you graduated high school in 2020, and you going for a diploma program in Computer System Technician Networking.
In your Letter of Explanation, can you state to the VO that after the completion your program in Canada you would be back to pursue a Bsc in your home country. As it would give more knowledge you require in pursuing a higher credential.
Would that be a red flag?

Gurus and NL family, please I await your response.
Thank you

Hello brother,
Please can you take some time to help me...

I have 2 kids of 2.5 years and 3 Months,
My wife is a corper, read Political Science education(Bsc) and graduated with a 2.1 grade...

I graduated 2010 and since 2018, i have been self employed, my company is a LTD liability, deals on Automobile and i read Mechanical Engineering with a 3rd class...

Who do you advise to be the primary applicant between me and my wife...

If my wife,
Is she required to write Gre?
She is more concerned about Gre Maths because she read Political Science...

Please advise brother...

Good Morning
Good Morning Mazi,

Well am not too familiar with married applicants or who should be the principal applicant or not. Probably SOWP would suffice. Await the response of the gurus on that.

But with my little knowledge based on your post, i think you should be the Principal Applicant cos your wife has a toddler and a 3 months old baby, that being said, it might/would challenging for her to study at this period or even in the next few months cos of her obligations and responsibilities as a nursing mother.

Now that you stand a better chance as the principal applicant, GRADUATING in 2010 as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER is a very obvious study gap so you can't go for a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PG. CERT Program. For progression sake, go for a Program related to your work experience.

From the tone of your Job designation and Job description self employed, my company is a LTD liability, deals on Automobile, you are an AUTOMOBILE DEALER, that being said you are good to go for a POST GRAD. CERTIFICATE PROGRAM in BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Do your research (google) on the following PG. CERT programs and the colleges in Canada offering them (loads of them are located at ONTARIO)
GBM - Global business management
IBM - International Global business management
SGBM - Strategic Global business management

Visit the links of the programs below to see their overviews, admission requirements, tuition amount for international students, course outlines etc. and choose the one that suits you

- PG. Cert in Strategic Global Business Management (2 years)

Google search for more business management (PG.CERT) colleges

As regards admission, You have a 3rd class and you have work experience, so to be on a more safer side to boost your admission chances, take your time and go through the contents in the links below before making a move on your admission application

Note
ONCE YOU GET YOUR ADMISSION ask questions on this platform so you can be able to perfect your study visa application well, cos no two visa application is the same. What works for an Unmarried applicant would likely not work for a Married applicant with kids. So ask questions on this platform to play safe.

Good luck!!!!

The next thing for you to do is to download the BIOMETRICS INSTRUCTION LETTER (BIL) then book for your BIOMETRICS at either LAGOS or ABUJA VFS (Depending on the location closer to you)

Go through the contents in the link below for the url to BOOK FOR BIOMETRICS and some other information you gonna find useful before going to the BIOMETRICS LOCATION (LAGOS OR ABUJA VFS)

So many complains about this from first bank. Was reached by the reps from my school about a lady wanting to pay to UCW through flywheel and First bank bounced her. I just told them to inform her to go use another bank where she has an account. So I will tell you same thing. Go use another bank and if you don't have, open a new account and do your form A transaction. Don't let any bank stand in your way.

Thanks

You could state you intend to return to Nigeria and launch a career in computer and network systems. While at it, you state potentials and growth of the Nigerian ICT industry. All these are available online.

You could also make mention of your intent to pursue industry certifications such as Microsoft MTA, Cisco CCNA, Security+ and MCSA.

It depends on the bank, but most do have the option of sending account statement to the embassy via mobile app. If your sponsor's bank is among those, then MyBankStatement certificate can be generated after it's sent to the embassy. The
certificate is automatically sent to your sponsor's email.
If there's no option to send bank statement to the embassy. Your sponsor might have to visit the bank.

Hello everyone, please I’ll like to ask for your kind opinion

I applied 11th of May, I got NSE request on 24th of May for ielts (I already submitted) my dashboard has been showing since first week of June- we are reviewing your eligibility... we are reviewing additional documents and background check has started to. My upfront medicals got updated June 4th.

I’m going to fanshawe and I resume on the 7th

1) do you think I should defer ( if yes, when )
2) By Gods grace when I get my approval & PPR, since my course is online, can I travel in October/November.

I don’t want to start my courses without my PPR
