That leaves a big question mark on OLE's managerial competence... does it mean he thinks a DM midfield of Matic/MacFred will be enough to win a league. In my opinion, i do not think the target is to win the league.

Another question I have is that are they waiting for the end of this season to release Matic, Mata and Jones. If Pogba and Cavani leaves, that will be five experienced players leaving. Surely that will affect the balance of the team even if good players are bought. In my opinion, that's also wrong. I would think some of those players would have been offloaded and replaced by now while others are left till the end of this current season in order to create a gradual but consistent change in personnel. The way I see it, we will never leave this "building phase" under OLE.

Ole knows what to do but won't do it just so he has an excuse at the end of the season.

So dallas can afford to allow James have the ball easily to sancho. But the position James is holding is a threat. It helps the team structure. If our CDMs were agile, able to receive the ball on the half turn, and had decent range of passing Maguire and Lindelof wouldn't have to always run with the ball out of defense. They have to do this because whenever they pass the ball into Fred (who is not aware of danger) or McTom (who is too aware of danger) we lose the ball anyway.

And of course when a CB keeps running out of defense with the ball he is asking for trouble.

The manager himself appears to lack the ability to impact our build up play but that is no news. Most reasonable people already know he is limited. Part of his limitation however is not seeing the deficiency in that midfield.

It is like you didn't see what happened, Bruno stayed on the ground, our players for a second felt that the referee had awarded a foul, I too, but as play continued the ref seemed not to give a fuvk, hence why the goal took our players by surprise, it was after the goal Bruno rushed and barked at the refree, I expected VAR to have a look, but it seems VAR doesn't interfer with play that much this season.

That was a blantant foul, imagine awarding that goal in a final.
