You'll need IELTS for Finland. You better start preparing your money cos there's no way around it. Schools in Finland mostly need IELTS.

I already wrote IELTS for canada express entry...can I use this for Finland sch admission?

i think i am cool with Finland. i have gone thru some schools and i notice my intended course (MSc in business analytics) needs GRE/GMAT and IELTS. then again for a family of 4, how much should be the funds in my account for maintenance. and where in Finland are we most likely to meet Nigerians. so i can narrow down my research. then again, should i decide to start a course in the health sector (undergraduate), will it still be possible to apply and go with my family as dependents.

The interview went well but they were asked to submit additional documents for them to take decision on their application. We have done that, still hoping for the best.
I will share the message sent to them after they have made decision on their application. Hopefully it will be positive.
The reason i want to share it is to enable others to prepare ahead if they are using sponsors with company account or sponsors that are earning salary.

Hello please i'm going for my biometrics soon, can i be added to a watsapp group or can i get your email address please, i need help

I'm not in Finland yet but I'm at the stage of applying for a residence permit.

For the tuition fee, I went to the bank and request for the requirements for payment of tuition outside Nigeria. I was given a breakdown what to bring, Form A to fill and the total cost my tuition will be in naira. As soon as these requirements are met, the bank will handle the rest. It takes about 3-7 working days depending on the bank.

For health insurance, I used Aiico insurance which cost about #30500. You can walk into any Aiico insurance company and do it but ensure it covers €40000. You can also use Swisscare insurance, this can be done online through their website but will cost you more about 100k if I'm not mistaken.

For residence permit, visit Enterfinland https://enterfinland.fi/eServices. Create an account and start filling the form. If you need further assistance I can be of help.

@ogedozie please I need help , I'm about applying for my residence permit, I need to clarify 1 or 2 things, please watsapp me on 07062021417 , please I look forward to hearing from you

Hello all

Pleases is it possible to study in Finland with dependent kids(I have 2 kids) 5yrs and 7yrs. Yes its possible

Will I be able to apply for myself and both kids. Yes you can apply for residence permit but itll be easier if you are going with your spouse as it'll show the kids will have a caregiver apart from you to enable you do well in your studies

Can a get admission to study education? I have experience but my BSC is in another course. don't have much info about this but Finnish masters are very competitive so you have a high hill to climb to prove you have what it takes.

How much is needed as proof of funds please. 6720Euro for a session for you individually. with the kids, prepare for x3

I tried reading previous charts but couldn't find answers to these questions. visit Studyinfodotfi and check through the school websites and you can also visit enterfinlanddotfi or migridotfi

Most of them have very limited places and there's a high number of applications. Most of them(at least those in STEM) usually expect you would have worked after your first degree so they expect you to prove your experience.

You'll have to write personal statement. Summary of work experience etc

Yes it is possible to study with dependents but you have to show evidence of financial capability. For your two kids, you need to show 10,800 Euro minus money for your own upkeep and your spouse’s

Yes, you can study educational courses. You just have to be convincing in your motivational statements.

Income requirement for students
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient financial resources for living in Finland. It is difficult for students to find jobs in Finland. When you apply for your first residence permit for studies, you cannot secure your income with work.

Before you arrive in Finland, make sure that you have enough funds for the entire time your studies will take. A residence permit for studies can be granted for two years, if you can prove that you have sufficient financial resources for your entire stay in Finland. You must have at least EUR 560 at your disposal every month to be able to pay for your accommodation, food and other needs. For a two-year stay, you must have EUR 13,440 at your disposal. If you only want the residence permit for one year at a time, you must have EUR 6,720 at your disposal in your own bank account. We will assess your means of income every time you submit an application to us. If necessary, we will ask you to submit additional documentation of the source of the assets.

Some educational institutions support their students’ residence in Finland. If the educational institution provides you with free accommodation, you need to have at least EUR 280 per month at your disposal. If the educational institution provides you with free accommodation and free meals, you need to have at least EUR 195 per month at your disposal.

When you are applying for an extended permit, you may secure your means of support with work. However, your work may not slow down your studies. Your studies must progress at a normal pace.

Hello guys I'm planning on applying for masters in Finland

Kindly help answer this confusing question

1. It is often adviced to apply to more schools
Now for my school to send transcript to a university abroad it's almost #40k
If I'm applying for like 5 schools and transcript is to be sent to all does it mean I'll pay 40k times 5

Secondly what is I couldn't scale through ghat year

And next year I apply again
Do I still need to pay another 40k for transcript to be sent

Kindly help clarify
Thanks
