I couldn't wait to leave.
My uncle working in Govt house in the then Akpabio Administration wanted to "work" my redeployment.
I just tell am make e chill. But I had a very great advantage...I understand and speak Yoruba. Na that one save me bcus almost 75% of my students no fit speak English(no jokes). I was almost tempted to teach in Yoruba.
Had to lie to the principal that I have a little baby back at home. He wanted me to stay in the staff quarters, say wetin happen?(me that was always skiping classes with lies of how I was asked to report at NYSC office. So that he will trace me back to the lodge?) I kept running from Ilorin to warri every 2weeks. I no even mind d T-fare(9kk to and fro) Though the village was a very peaceful one but I no fit just stay like that.
Abeg the experience just too plenty...

Well, what i posted is limited to some babes tho.

I met a babe on camp and was trying to scope her, she somehow found a way to work herself to the state capital.
This babe basically cajoled a whole me to apply for redeployment,( a gallant mopol like me fa), i applied because she wants us to redeploy to Ogun state as lovers cheesy

Tho, it didn't work but at the end of service year, i ran from my PPA on the day of POP, left the state the day after but the babe stayed behind for another year, flexing with sugar alhajis.

I was initially hate the place, because no light, no network, no good water, but which I later replace with their brukutu and pito. Glo as they usually called it. I really enjoyed the good people of Doka then, someone like Ezekiel "Mechanics", My friend Dadic, Mr. CK, prince Jerry, chemist Abubaka, my late friend Attack. I also miss gindin Mangoro Raphael place where we normally consume bear, ooh the place was so lovely. Wish to visit them one of this day.

Your friend is right , private company do take corpers , but only a few , government takes the chunk , The few that are not picked or rejected , will be left to wander for themselves , some end up begging for private company to use them anyhow .

Please you guys should drop where your Place Of Primary Assignment (PPA) was done and can also add how you got it and what the journey was like.

This is to show my friend who I have been arguing with that private company do take corpers as PPA. he feels they are few and it mostly government institutions which he doesn't want.

so my focus is on private coy but that shouldn't stop you if you did yours in a government establishment.
