Good day Guru's

I would like to know, after one is fully vaccinated, do you still need to do the covid test within 72hrs before travelling? If yes can one do it in any private lab that is accredited to carry one the test?
Thanks

This is from ircc international I guess? You won't get this response from the office directly handling your file if your application has passed processing time.

I got a different response from Nairobi

I am not a guru but I personally think this is easy if u have the school fees.I think if you can reapply and pay the school fees in full especially if it's a one year program, they will give you.If it's a two year program too nd u have d cash, then u can pay but if u dont have the cash,I think this will be a problem then.
u may also consider opening a GIC, cos I think they probably dont believe u have d funds but if u have d money to open a GIC account in addition to the school fees,it may be better cos it shows Financial commitment , if not give them another MBS of 1 year showing sufficient funds for ur living expenses either with u or sponsor but u must pay ur school fees mate.my 2 kobo

Thanks a lot, this is really helpful.

Don't use the word drugs its advisable to say meds.
recxa:
Hi guys, how do you guys travel with medication? I've been on medication for H. Pylori bacteria (caused ulcer) for two months now and have a month left to go. Just looking at the medicine makes me cringe cuz they might raise eyebrows. Do you have to declare these drugs

Ulcer drugs
Amoxicillin 500mg for 2 weeks(twice daily)
Clarithromycin 500.g for 2 weeks(twice daily)
Omeprazole 40mg for 1 month(once daily)

Then I have azithromycin for sore throat and felvin with buscopan for menstrual cramps(I would faint without them)

I also have Panadol extra cuz I suffer from migraines. I have other supplements that I use for my migraines too: Magnesium 500mg for 90 days(but I've used from it), gingko biloba 90 days

I have cranberry extract supplement, my reload women multivitamin 30 days, vitamin D3,(90 days) Vitamin C 500mg for 1 month+, vitamin C 1000mg+15mg zinc effervescent tablets(like 8 tabs left).

I have day and night nurse for flu, and ibuprofen.

Seems like a lot lol

I don't have an original doctors note from the hospital I was diagnosed (for the bacteria or migraine) but I have the Rx note from the pharmacist I bought the antibiotics from (after I ran out of the ones provided by the hospital) including azithromycin, felvin and buscopan.

Oh and I have my allergy meds too (don't wanna be caught unawares lol)

What do you guys think?

Please I want to ask,I had my first dose last week, the second was one scheduled to about 4 weeks time.. is it possible for me to have it earlier than the 4 weeks.Thank you

I strongly advise anyone coming to Canada to get fully vaccinated if you have the opportunity to. Unfortunately I was only able to get one shot before leaving Naija. My experience has been terrible so far. I'll share when I put myself together.

Please guys I want to ask why do they hide preassessment note in some people's gcms note and reveal it in others? Two of my gcms note that I got has Review Required and no preassesment note. Although I saw due date 28th August but till now no response. I also saw where they verified my LOA and my school replied it's legit. My eligibility review had started since June 1 or 2.

My classes are starting today , I have opted for online classes for now.

Since you've not sent the ticket via webform or mail. They do not have access to it yet and can't link it to your application.

Please scan the old statement clearly. Send it via webform and mail till they Acknowledged receipt.

There's a medical reason why the vaccine is given 4 weeks apart, it's not advisable for you to rush it.

CBSA notes hardly comes with pre-assessment notes again for now.

Try normal gcms notes via ircc.

Yes, from Nairobi, I always receive the usual generic mail that my application is under active review. Can't remember contacting IRCC international, so was surprised at the mail this morning. When I saw donotreply from IRCC, thought Correspondence letter don land. Only to open it and it was this.

My school resumes next week, September 7th I have decided to start classes online, does this affect anything? Once I get PPR by Gods grace can I leave anytime?
