To me, changing the mindset or the thought process of LIERGERIANS would go along way to solving the ills that pervade the landscape.

The topic is self explanatory. If you could change one thing about Nigeria what would you change?

Mine: The mindset of the people. Nigeria is a disaster today because of the backward mindset of its people ( leaders included).

What would you changehuh
I would reduce the President's salary to N500k benefits inclusive, VP: N400k, Senate President and Vice to 300k and N250k, Governors to N200k and LG Chairman to N150k. All inclusive of benefit.

That way, only serious minded individuals who have a heart of service and truly want the best for Nigeria, and not money hungry and greedy souls, will seek elective offices.

Then establish the law that all Contract Staff must be converted to full Staff in Private sector. No more contract staff!
Imagine a Company pays N120k for your services as a Staff but only N40k gets to you, the remaining N80k is pocketed by the outsourcing Company who doesn't take the heat you take from your Superiors at work. What's the point of this? Wickedness.

I will change -
Our orientation.
Your orientation
If you move all Nigerians to USA and move all USA to Nigeria, in 10 years, Nigeria will be like USA while USA will become like Nigeria.
My orientation

Orientation is the reason why we arw like this.

The people who are complaining of corruption are doing so because it doesn't favour them. When it begins to favor them, they say it is their time.

The people who are complaining about the lawmakers getting so much money will not complain again when their brothers or family members become a lawmaker.

If any lawmaker refuses to pack as much money as possible, his people, his supporters, his family, etc, will complain, they will say the man is just wasting opportunity and chance.

If a lawmaker cannot build several houses in hometown, Abuja, Lagos, people will abuse him.

The same people complaining about police attitudes will do same things the police are doing the moment they join.

Who is deceiving who?

The reason while we dont have power is because of our orientation.

The reason while soldiers are harassing innocent civilians is orientation. All civilians complaining will do the same thing if they join army.

The reason while new brt busses get damaged quickly is because of the orientation.

The reason while fuel importers are import 5 vessels and but tell government its 17 vessels is because of the orientation ~ even you will do the same If you get chance.

The reason while some people send our imported fuel to Benin republic so that they can make more gain is because of orientation - you will do the same if you get chance

The reason while the millionaire in your street wants you to give him attention and respect when he is driving by is orientation - you will also do the same thing.

The reason while the people who have small power oppress the poor is because of orientation. You will likely do the same.
Nobody is born with a particular positive orientation, the kind of orientation you are talking about is inculcated via acculturation and education! we are indiscipline in Nigeria because we learnt it from our parents who learnt from the prevailing culture in Nigeria.

The topic immediately above yours, "Heavy Gunshots as BANDITS CELEBRATE IN MILITARY UNIFORMS" IS SUFFICIENT TO IMPEACH BUHARI AND LAWAN AS SUCH DISPLAY OF HOOLIGANISM IS CONTRARY TO THE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE TO FAIR GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA.

I would undo the amalgamation of North and South. Lugard purposely created a Leviathan in Nigeria. Documents in the possession of NINAS has shown this to be true.

Responsible parenting.

Stop endless religious indoctrination like Arabic classes instead of Modern ones.

Maximum of three children per couples.

Regulate religion.

Politicians on Civil Servants Salary Scale.

If I could go back in time I'd murder Lord Lugard in his crib.

Nigeria is a monster that should never have been created.

Export all Nigerian girls and import some sensible foreign girls to live here with us.
Nigerian girls are simply a product of the rotten society in which they were raised. If you like import girls from Mars, give them a few years they would be no different from the current crop of ladies in your country, maybe even worse.

CTRL ALT DEL would simply bring up the Windows Task Manager.

I think you meant Shift+Del which would permanently delete the file. Anyway, I get your idea.
