Good evening medics.
I'm a final year Medlab student,with a current 4.46 CGPA.
I plan picking the direct entry form once it's out.
Please what's my chances of getting admission to study MBBS through DE.
I really need advice please.
if you can make a first class... It would be nice.

Some schools like UI admit only first class (no exams, they will use transcript, the higher the better).

If you apply to a school like Unilorin you will be getting maximum points under your certificate section, you will only need to score high in the putme... Though Unilorin can be tribalistic and their admission process isn't straight forward sha.

For school like Uniben, they admit just 5 out of many applicants, they write exams though and from experience they prefer jupeb or Alevel candidates to degree.

Why don't you try your institution ?

If you don't mind you can take Utme and DE, if it's still possible.

MLS is actually a very good course Sha, a bit surprised you want to still go for medicine. But others have done it...

Best thing is to get past questions from your seniors or mates.

Part 1 exam is a test of residual knowledge and what you will need to scale through is repetitive studying of your school materials till you understand the concepts and maybe cram some topics too cheesy. Don't waste your time looking for materials from another school. Good luck.

Hello house, please I need ASAP answers. For those who are in uniport. How is the nature of their Putme, is it same as jamb, how many subject combination, how difficult is it (I have heard horrible stories, some say it's difficult to score 300), their mode of admission.

You Haven't seen anything bro, I know a classmate of mine that just concluded from Engineering Dept. Others abound, not to mention the Masters holders. Simply med school for you.

How's prep for MB going? It's really hot on us here. Infact, it's choking..

It's common in Medical and Law schools. That's what make them special. Even most of our lecturers had a degree before Medicine.

Is it screening or post Utme exam? All I'm seeing there is screening.
