They should just settle it once and for all. The masses are suffering.
things have gotten so bad for the masses, a colleague of mine complained that during her last call, a patient who went to ifako ijiaye (outskirts of Lagos mainland) for simple diarrhea and vomiting found herself in onikan on the island due to lack of bed space.

The patient went to ifako ijiaye general hospital and was told there was no space. The doctor there wrote a letter referring her to orile-agege, who told her that there was no bed space, and no bed space in the whole mainland since LASUTH and GBagada were on strike, the doctor told them to go to the hospital in EKO, who also had no bed space, and told her to go to onikan where she ended up.

Ngige has not seen anything. With the way things are going, very soon JOHESU will join the strike

When will the President, the National assembly, the Governors, and ministers go on strike for lack of salaries and bonuses?

Broda ode, but your senators and reps deserve their largees for sleeping in the chamber and passing laws that stiffens life out of you

Doctors do nothing abi Na your type dey run leave house if you hear say somebody die for compound
please remember that doctors didn't strike last year when COVID-19 was dealing with us. They pushed their issues aside and put nigerians first. But one can only do that for so long.

Let me tell you a story. A female doctor working in one of these teaching hospitals that hadn't paid salary for more than 3 months but was told to keep working, suffered a miscarriage. She was admitted in the same hospital and treated. She was also told to pay the hospital bill before she could go, the same hospital that refused to pay her salary. I heard she couldn't afford it and had to beg family members. Put yourself in her shoes.

No staff welfare, nothing. It is really sad.

When your northern onion sellers went on "strike", you even paid them billions of naira for them to resume their business, even when the southerners told them to keep their unwanted onions to themselves.

Now doctors are on strike, but what we see is lip service.

Don't worry. We know where your interest lies. We will go our separate ways and your eyes will clear.

They prefer saving onions than saving lives. Sick government.

We're on the same page my dear. I only replied in that tone so that sense will fall on that guy.

To him, the doctors are asking for too much and that's why I called him broda ode

Public office holders are currently wasting taxpayers money and time paying useless visits to Tinubu in London and nobody is saying something about it. Rip to Nigeria. Very soon, it won't be my problem anymore.

This is absolutely crazy!
If this useless pattern continues, many of our best medical hands will find their way out of this country and the effect is highly detrimental

The Drs are not claiming saints in the interviews I've heard ...as a matter of fact, their representatives admitted they are also feeling the heat of the strike...but they are ready to go all out this time to ensure the Government do the right thing.

As a citizen, we cannot go on blaming civil servants..our leaders should do the right thing...these Drs salaries have been appropriated for in the budget, nothing stops the Government from paying them...they should pay!
