I am about to take my moderna Vaccine. it's free but u have to book online 1st.I advise ppl that are waiting for PPR to go and get cos the crowd is much here.more nd more ppl are now embracing it unlike the 1st phase and it's just 28 days(4 weeks) interval between 1st and 2nd doze.I am sure this one will finish earlier than the 1st phase cos ppl realize that they wont die if they take it unlike the previous mis information. I am taking it in Lagos.I came early this morning, yet I am no 44.lol.I am still there.

please what can I expect as per reaction from taking it for those who have taken it.I dey fear oo.some ppl say they fall sick.is it true?

I am not a Guru, but with things I have learnt here, admission process for each school defers, CIC process for each Application differs also. Some schools takes 2 Weeks, some Months before issuing admission decision, But from my own personal experience, I applied for admission for January, 2022 session because I wanted to give CIC enough time for the permit processing,
I submitted School admission’s application on April 14th, I gained admission on May 3rd.
Then, I applied for Visa on May 13th and PPR dropped in August.

I hope you can calculate the timing and make use.
Thanks for the info

Getting another admission will take about one month or more. Then you have to file for another visa application. With IRCC's backlogs, chances are high that you wouldn't meet up with January due to delay in processing time. If you could get an admission for May, that'd be perfect. Still, you can risk it and submit your application probably late October. Maybe you'll get lucky and you'll get an approval before January.

All my best

Dear Guru's,

I need your advice.

My program is only September intake.

Should I reply for the program or I should seek another admission for January intake in another school.

Awaiting advice from the house.

Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by DestinationCann: 4:54pm On Sep 04, 2021
Changing your school before getting your Visa and entertaining Canada means you'll begin your application over again technically after informing them.

My advice, join online classes if your school has it and allow you to (IRCC says schools can run online classes till 31st December 2021)

Best is to speak with course advisor for your course in the school.

PPR: September 3

Documents submitted:
CV
Recommendation letter from my academic supervisors (1st and 2nd degree)—Both hammering on the need of my proposed PhD program and how it would greatly benefit Nigeria.
Certificates and transcripts.
Letter of support from my brother (He expressly noted the amount he transferred to my account, 2M).
Letter of Attestation from my parents.
Picture with my parents (recent).
Land documents (Agreement).

POF:
Funding Letter.
Personal bank statement (4 months, with history of 3M).
Brother’s bank statement (4 months, foreign account).
Brother’s pay slip.

The wait was really daunting and exhausting. At some points, I was overwhelmed and doubting my application - It was after I submitted my application I join this thread, then, I began to raise webforms and SHOOTING EMAILS to Nairobi to further fine tune my application based on the recommendation and advice from the gurus here. More so, I PRAYED AND FASTED so that the VOs should overlook my mistakes

As at this time last year, I cant imagine that I could be at this level, in fact, I was about giving up on scholarship after receiving several love letters from Professors. Then, I give it another trial this year—I am heading to UBC for a PhD program with funding. (B.Tech 2014; MSc 2019).

To God be thy glory.
Great is thy faithfulness.

To all PPR Hopefuls: You will get it very soon by the grace of God—Your labour will not be in vain. The mercy and the favour of God will envelope your application. God in His infinite mercies will cover your mistakes and color your efforts. The joy will go round. We all testify to the goodness of God and his name will be magnified. He will surely come through for everyone. He’s a faithful God: He thou has promised; he’s faithful and will make it happen very soon. It is well!

So a brief update on the journey so far

I became serious with this faceless platform now turned family on the 26th of June this year. That was when i knew i was dealing with a clown as a agent. Fast forward to some days after calling it quit with him, my Nairaland Soldier was able to rescue me and collect my money back. The same 26th, i opened a new GCKey, also applied to Cambrian college but no response yet. A week after i was able to apply to Fanshawe college where i finally got admission in eaxctly a week.

Tuition fee deposit paid. Just concluded my ielts test today. And about to apply for my study permit.

Slow but its steady.

I'm going to send you a link called Designated Learning Institution that contains all the govt/province approved schools and there eligibility for POST GRADUATE WORK PERMIT.
Use the link to check your school there,if you can't find it there then you know it's not approved but make sure you check if the school is eligible for Post Graduate work permit,if it's not eligible then look for another school that is eligible.
Below is the link

Good morning everyone
Thanks for helping me out with IOM Abuja booking.
I still have an issue, I did the booking for my son and I, using my passport number for both bookings. My son's passport is yet to be ready but will be ready before the scheduled date for the medicals.

I feel waiting for his passport before booking for medicals will delay my visa application
process.

Please house, will this affect our medicals?
Thanks for your quick response.

I booked for myself and son in July (Qlife) I wasn’t asked to input his passport details,I didn’t have the passport yet,I have gotten it now and our appointment is next week.So I think that shouldn’t be a problem
