Have you requested for your GCM notes?
You need to know what has happened with your former application, so you can also know how to re-apply.

With information reaching us now via pictures of the WhatsApp chat with agent , it appears you filled the form yourself and the agent claimed that all the documents submitted, that your the one that provided them.
So let me ask you, did you provide any forged documents or you tampered with your bank statement, bcus these could be wat led to the ban
even if d applicant sent false info which I dont believe he did.y did the agent not inform him of his procedural fairness letter?

Just imagine. I have spoken with dozens of agents, especially on Instagram. You will be shocked that those who regularly visit this page are even more knowledgeable than some of these so called agents. Imagine an agent that doesn't even knw what MBS stands for.

lmao.Omo.some of this agents are novice oo.How can a so called Canadian imigration agent in Nigeria not know MBS?

Yes you can since you have a Bachelors degree and your CGPA is strong.

Also, it all depends on how convincing a Professor finds your cold mail, academic cv, required skills etc. which would make him/her conclude whether you gonna be a good for for his/her research group/lab or not and also if the Prof. has grants for research to fund graduate students.

Kudos to you for gaining those internship experiences and Skills. As a Business Administration graduate, It's more like a transition from NONSTEM to STEM for you and that has a potential of making a Professor of Business Analytics in a Canadian university or Universities have interest in you if it's mentioned on your Academic CV & Cold mails.

You are welcome, it's good you are being intentional and doing your due diligence.

Note:
Based on your last paragraph, be very careful not to send a Particular copy of cold mail to more than one professor (avoid sending a generic mail to all profs).
A cold mail must be specifically tailored to a Prof. based on his/her research areas and publication or publications.

That is, for instance, the cold mail meant for Professor Shawn Mendes would be different from the one you gonna be sending to Prof. Bryan Adams. So if you are gonna be mailing 30 profs. that means you gonna be drafting 30 different cold mails

You might want to see the contents in the links below if you haven't.

https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/556#104551146

I wish you positive response from the Profs. you gonna be cold mailing. Goodluck!!!
Thank you so much for taking your time to make a lengthy post in response to my question. I will heed to your advice and ensure that I'm meticulous in drafting the cold mail to be sent out. I wish you can review the one I have drafted presently but I read from your post that you don't allow private messages and it's fine. I totally understand.
I hope to come back and give testimony on this thread.
Thank you once again.

Faithyyyyy:

I don't know the poster but part of the reasons why I had to handle my brother’s application was that after reaching out to several agents including an IRCC licensed one in Canada they all told me it would be hard to get approval as he was young, highly mobile and his home ties and Finances would indeed be questioned not to mention a 13 year study gap from secondary school to diploma.

Wokos was one of those agents I reached out to for admission to Manitoba. My brother's Neco result was better than his WAEC so he suggested I used my own WAEC result since I had 7A's it would be automatic admission with some funding sef and my brother could do an affidavit of change of name. He showed me a sample of the affidavit he does for people. Fam, I ran for my life and future because if caught two lives would be ruined and I already had a very clean record and travel history with countries that share information with Canada plus my study permit. I explained all this to him oooh. He still said let's proceed.

I had no choice than to painstakingly work on his application myself after Frank helped us secure the admission to Conestoga with the same results Wokos claimed was not good enough.
The first application was a quick rejection within 1 month but I went back to the drawing board and spent 2 months working on a more solid application addressing the issues before reapplying. I once again reached out to the IRCC agent in Canada and she said it was a long shot but she will charge us $5000 for her services and Judicial review if he got denied again. I resigned to doing the work myself jejely.

Coming back to this guy and wokos, there is a lot unsaid here.
1. Did the guy actually allow wokos add falsified documents to his application? ( me I know wokos does that one based on interaction)
2. Does wokos use the same statement of purpose for all his applications as it is clear there are generic documents as noted by the visa officer in the gcms notes.
3. Please avoid any agent that won't give you access to your log in information because that account belongs to you and not the agent. Many of these so called agents haven't travelled to anywhere and have limited perspective they sell to gullible clients.

4. As I always say, don't copy and paste from anyone because no two applications are the same . Your story and sop must be unique to you and your circumstances. Craft your story and guide the agent accordingly to avoid stories that touch.

5. Own this process yourself and take responsibility. do not live your life or future to chance based on someone else's limited experience. While the agent may not get into trouble, your life and future will be affected by the decisions you have put in their hands.

I reached out to wokos last night because he was amongst the naysayers who told me the visa would be impossible without doing something crooked.

As earlier advised, appeal to ircc immediately with all your supporting documents, proof of conversations between you and wokos and clear yourself immediately.

It is actually inhuman if wokos withheld the information about the procedural fairness letter when it was sent.

Yea you have a point, it seems there is something both parties are not telling us.
However, I still maintain, people should start making use of the info and ideas made available in this platform, by utilizing it and using it to apply for their visa themselves, instead of settling for agent to do the job
Using agents to apply for this study visa is risky and if care is not taking, it may result to ban as a result of (Misrepresenting)

Friday September 03, I arrived at the airport around 4:30pm for a 10:55 PM flight. My parents insisted that we leave home early especially because it was raining and Lagos traffic is unpredictable. They were right.

The queue was long. I was approached by a British Airways official and he asked if I have the passenger locator form with me. I was not aware of such. Gave him my phone to search for the link. I filled and downloaded the form only to be told I do not meet the UK fully vaccinated requirement. I had to fill the form again.

Note: Those computer centers at the airport will urge you to come and print the form. That's totally unnecessary. You do not need to print. You can present a soft copy from your phone.

Went on to check-in my luggages, both bags weighed 23 point something kg. The lady was nice enough to overlook the very little excess.
I presented the documents below;
Enrollment letter
Passport
Covid 19 negative result
Receipt of Tuition fee
Passenger locator form I submitted to the UK government
I forgot to print study permit approval letter, I had to show the lady a soft copy from my phone.
I was asked to wait somewhere while they await confirmation from their source. After confirmation I was provided my boarding pass. I chilled at the restaurant with my family till I was ready to board.

The 2 Flights were smooth and the in-flight entertainment was top notch, but I couldn't eat the meals provided. I was literally feeling hungry. I wouldn't have shared the cookies I brought from home with the passenger beside me if I had known.

NB: Don't ever depend on in-flight meals o. That's probably the only drawback from the journey.

At Heathrow airport, I couldn't access the internet properly despite my phone being connected to the WiFi. Some apps and website were inaccessible. Spent 7hrs there. I was indecisive on what to eat and when I finally did, my choices were terrible. I kept myself entertained with series I downloaded.

NB: Don't ever buy canned coconut water.

I Departed London and landed in Toronto around 4pm. The entire process at the airport was smooth as I am fully vaccinated. Immigration didn't ask any unnecessary question. It was more like a conversation.

I was picked up by a family at the airport. Currently recovering from all the stress.
Best wishes to everyone.

If your application is to be approved and your resumption date has passed, IRCC will ask for an updated LOA..

So its best you defer to the next resumption date and make sure your LOA is readily available. So when IRCC request for it, you will just submit it via Webform or Email...

PEACE
Cloudweb:
Please what really happens after your school resumes and you still have not gotten a decision from IRCC?

Will IRCC still proceed to make a decision on your Application or would they not care to decide since knowing your resumption date has passed?

Please I need some answers!

Hello Nairalanders,
thanks for all you do.
kindly help suggest colleges with fast response to admission in Canada as I need this due to the slow response from IRCC.
I am working on presenting a new LOA before the decision is finalized as I've already missed Fall resumption.

Thanks

Please have any one gotten a GCMS note of recent how long did it take to get it,I applied for my on the 24th August & I got a mail stating they have priorities on who to reply & my is not part of the priorities stated please what do you advice I should do.

It seems they are attending to people who ordered their Gcms case file way before you, that's why your not a priority at the moment for them.
Just wait a bit longer, they will soon make you a priority. Gcms note takes maximum 40days or more before it becomes ready and obviously your own hasn't been long you applied for it, so I suggest you wait for 3weeks more, by then it may come out

If your app is still under processing and your class is in progress, ircc will continue to process your app,it doesn't affect anything.
At this stage wat you should do is Defer your Admission to next intake and send the New LOA to ircc so that they will update your app.
Even if you didn't send them the New LOA, if ircc wants to give you visa , they will request an additional document from you which is New LOA to enable them to finalize your app.

If you've started online class already, you can notify them about it with evidence, although it won't add anything in terms of visa approval but by informing them they will see you as a serious applicant
