I had already deferred before getting my PPR but the LOA has not been released. What do I need to do when I get it?
Also how do I send my passport for stamping? Should I just go to DHL office or something? I saved the steps before but I can’t seem to find it anymore.

If you can reach your school to let them know you have gotten PPr with proof and see if they can cancel the deferment request. That you choose to resume soonest with them.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by DestinationCann: 12:30pm On Sep 07, 2021
Sorry for the slight delay, it'll end in Praise finally.

Please order your GCMS notes to see it from the Visa Officer's eyes so you can repackage your next application while tackling the issues.

My Ppr just dropped and my timeline is as follows

I just deferred my admission early this morning sef.
And I do not know what to do about that
.

Mail your school with you Ppr proof and ask them to cancel it, that you intend to join them soonest.

Ask for 2 or 3weeks extension so you can put yourself in order to move to canada.

Haba! This is not true. IRCC says international students can study online in their respective countries till December this year. And it will be counted towards PGWP.

Please verify information before posting.

Enjay316:
IRCC has stated clearly and someone posted it some weeks ago that the time u spent studying online before your Visa approval will not be counted wen calculating time studied 4 ur PGWP

Hello House Gurus,

I need help.

I applied for a student visa and did my biometrics on April 29.

But I got a mail that I was owing the crown in August so I paid $230.

My issue is my school admission last intake is this September and my visa is not yet out.

What should I do?

Should I reapply to the school and update my IRICC application or should I just wait hoping that the VO has already confirmed the validity of the admission before now and the VIsa will be out soon?

Please house this is urgent, what can I do?

Help us o

It's a PPR alert guys. I'd be back for its details.

DestinationCann:
This is wrong please. IRCC says "study permit application" not approval

Important: Time spent studying outside of Canada only begins to count towards PGWP length after the department receives the study permit application. As such, studies undertaken before the department received the study permit application can be deducted from the PGWP length. Note that the minimum length a PGWP can be issued for is 8 months. Therefore, if a student only completes 7 months of studies after their study permit application is received, they are not eligible for a PGWP. Students are encouraged to apply for their study permits prior to starting their studies.

There is nothing wrong is this . It means that it start counting from when you submit your application . Simply trying to discourage people not to start any course until you’ve applied for your study permit

I have been a part time silent observer on this thread but I would love you guys to join me in thanking God and I hope I would become a contact point for you all awaiting your ppr to get the good news soon.
My Ppr just dropped and my timeline is as follows

Visa application timeline
Applied 14th May
Did biometrics on 26th of May
Upfront medicals on 10th of May updated on the 21st of May.
Bvl on the September 7th
Ppr on the September 7th as well

I used normal route and no NSE as I couldn't write IELTS in such a short time.
My mom is my sponsor and she submitted a bank statement of about 50000 CAD.
I would be travelling to the University of New Brunswick by God's grace before this year runs out.
Its an undergraduate program.
Thank you so much guys
Reading messages and words of encouragement from people on this thread really kept my hope alive. It was a long and anxious wait but we thank God it ended in praise.

I submitted
Waec result
High school testimonial
Affidavit of support from my mom
Bank statement of 20 million
Study plan letter
My mom's pension account statement
My mom's letter of retirement
LOA from my school.

I just deferred my admission early this morning sef.
And I do not know what to do about that.

Sharing similar timeline @May14th, God is in my neighborhood.
Since you just deferred you can write to recall showing them evidence of the PPR. Let's be hopeful on their kind consideration or if you prefer winter Term, it will give you time to prepare and travel. Congratulations and wishing you the very best.
