Good evening,
My husband recently applied for the UK visa and got rejected.
The documents he submitted were his company CAC certificate and his personal bank statement where he saves money.

Please what do we do moving forward if he’s to re-apply.

What documents did he submit?

I don't think TCC is necessary though cus my hubby didn't add that to his application and he got his visa

Good evening, thanks for your response.
The documents he submitted were his CAC cert, his personal account (where he saves) as he does not really withdraw from there. Others docs were deed of agreement of our home, marriage cert., birth cert of our baby.

Good evening,
No, there were ee no receipt of goods sold and he doesn’t pay himself salary. He does business with the clients money and sends his profit to his savings.

It's not compulsory to pay yourself salary. If he has a company account he can apply with that, he should provide receipts for the transactions in his account. Also if he is using his personal account, he should explain why he is using his personal account for his business. Since they already have doubts about paying tax, maybe he should get a TCC from tax office .

Anyways he has to demonstrate with some receipt or paperwork how the money was entering in to is account and if you have been doing some follow-ups on here you will relealize that separating your business money has to be different from salary,he needs to be paying himself salary from the business account atleast for 6 month they have talked about this perticular issue on here even if you read Ike 4 pages backward you would understand better that's my point of view and I believe the gurus here would reason with you as well that's from my own perspective.

Visa Alert for my Spouse

Duration: 3weeks

He runs his own company and he said the company will be sponsoring his trip . He does not pay himself salary .

I noticed there is no one way for applying for self employed, so I just put all these documents for him and left it to God.

He also does not have travel history so I stated that he will be traveling with me since I have a good travel history.

Documents for him
CAC
Company bank statement
Reference letter from bank as sole signatory
Marraige Certificate
House documents
Land documents
Receipts for all the inflows in his coy account
Sponsorship letter from his company signed by his secretary.
Cover letter
SLA agreement with some of his clients
Letter of invitation

Please, the part they asked about assets and liabilities, what do you think we can provide for proof of that as his business is online.

Goodevening everyone, please after refusal,is there a time frame to re-apply?
There is no time frame, you can apply as soon as you like once you have corrected the issues that led to your refusal however,if you have been banned it would state the period.

Good evening.
The Refusal letter is straightforward, for your partner’s next application open a corporate account and give it a few months to show traffic.
If he would rather use a personal account explain why in additional information alongside addressing how you have tackled issues raised in your refusal letter.Remember he would need to have regular income to show he is gainfully employed not lodgements.
Your case officer has assumed that by trading with the personal account which is personal preference he was evading Tax and the funds were not proof of business so include a few transactions such as invoice/receipts.
Pay your taxes and include the certificate in the next application, some people do not do this but it has been stated in his own refusal so is needed.
Better luck next time and i hope this helps.

No proof of his income, personal account cannot scale through.

Your husband should open a business account and give it time before applying again

Hello Gurus in the house. PLEASE I NEED HELP SOOO BAD!
My Sister made an application for Tourist visa (6months), and went for biometrics at the Ikeja office on 9th August 2021. Up till now 8th Sept, we haven't heard anything. The hotel booking that was done will need to be rescheduled, as she was supposed to travel on 10th September 2021.
My questions are.. Is this delay a general thing? Should we be worried? And how can we track aside using the TLS app (cos it just says received at the UK...)?
Thanks in anticipation

How long does it actually take to get response after biometric. What's the best time to apply and make an appointment for early November biometric appointment. Travelling first week of December?
Thanks a bunch for your anticipated responses.

I'm also on the same boat as ur sister. I gave my biometrics on the same day. I only heard from DMC on the 6th of September (intended date of trip) that they had just received my application (like seriously after 19 working days) and that i will have to wait again within the service delivery timeframe (15 working days) for a decision. I was able to get their attention though by sending a paid email to them for a response that they would escalate my case to the relevant department. So, i suggest to send a paid email to them.

I'm also in a similar situation. I suggest you send a mail to ukvi so that they can escalate your case and at least tell u what's going on. But be rest assured that it's a general trend attributed to the unprecedented high volume of student visa applicants this year.

The best time is Now! At least 90 days (3 months )prior to your intended date of travel is accepteable.

You will have to wait o... unless you paid for priority service. I know they try to attend to people with closer travel dates though so you might get a decision soon.

The same department messaged me as well. Well, at this point, you just have to sit and wait and hope all goes well in our favor.

Please advise
My spouse visiting visa expires Oct 21 can she renew by September 21.
Lastly I note that if anyone experienced lengthy delay on your visa decision there is 80% chances that it will be refused….from experience ooooo

I disagree.
My first visa took more than 40 working days and I wasn't denied.

The sooner he renews it the better for him as his personal circumstances from the last time he was issued visa are still intact. However, he still needs to send all the required documents.
It still swings both ways. The delays can acutally be for different reasons that is beyond both the applicant and the ECO. In this case, the overwhelming number of student visa applicants this period has delayed processing of tourist visas. It's everywhere. Even in india. You can so your own research.
