Even phones that were released this year are scarce to see you are asking of a phone released in 2019 and has been discontinued.

The dude was actually refering to the Xiaomi brand. What you guys made us to believe was that the Xiaomi brand beats transsion in all ramifications. But to my greatest suprise this 9A is not in anyway better than the last Infinix I used.

Oga, iPhone brand better pass Transsion. Even you will agree. That in no way means an iPhone 5 is better than a Tecno Camon 17 pro. Hope you get angry

Thank you my brother. I thought I was the only one complaining about the phone. Guys here have been bashing me all this while. They even labelled me a troll thinking that I want to pull down the Xiaomi brand. Some even called me a transsion marketer.

Bro, the 9A is a mess like you said and I also regret buying it. I wanted to get Infinix hot 8 before but due to the way these guys hype Xiaomi, I said let me try it and see. I never knew I would regret my decision.
Hi,

You're obviously catching fun at this point. That much is clear. I don't need to impede in your fun catching, but troll with sense. Simple common sense.

1. I have never seen anyone hype the Redmi 9a. It is an entry level device with limited functionality. It is a phone that I have with me. It does exactly what the processor ought to do. It is not meant for PUBG or PES. No right thinking human should expect that from a Helio G25 SoC. No body.

2. The Infinix Hot 8 that you mentioned and the Redmi 9a, which one do you think is the better device?

The Redmi 9a's Helio G25 will outperform the useless Helio A22/P22 combo on that overpriced piece of plastic.

3. All of the hype goes to the Xiaomi midrangers, especially the upper midrangers. In 2019, the Redmi Note 7 absolutely destroyed the Infinix S4, Zero 6 and the Tecno Camon 15 Pro. In that same year, Redmi Note 8/8pro took Infinix S5 to the cleaners. In 2020, the Redmi Note 9 Pro was better the Infinix Zero and Tecno's Camon 16. I have not even mentioned the Mi 9T, Mi Note 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T Pro 5G.

In 2021, the Redmi Note 10 Pro has swept away the Tecno Camon 17 line up. With Infinix going back to use Helio G90T for the Zero X line up, Redmi Note 10 Pro is the premier midranger of 2021.

That's the hype.

So if you were too poor to afford a Xiaomi midranger, that's not on us. Take the lamentations elsewhere. I have the Redmi 9a and I take fine photos with it, as well as run my playstation one and J2ME emulators on. It works fine.

The part in bold is what most of these deluded Xiaomi marketers or should I call them Fanboys will never agree with. They will soon come out now to argue that the Redmi 9A is far more superior than infinix zero 8 or the camon 17 you mentioned. Sometimes I wonder if they are bots or Zombies without brains for them to accept every trash that Xiaomi dishes out.

1. I have never seen anyone hype the Redmi 9a. It is an entry level device with limited functionality.
Oga, nobody is talking about 9A here. We are talking about Xiaomi as a brand. How many times will a reiterate this? or are you a zombie?

It is a phone that I have with me. It does exactly what the processor ought to do. It is not meant for PUBG or PES. No right thinking human should expect that from a Helio G25 SoC. No body.
It seems you are a newbie here. I have never criticized the 9A on the grounds of game play or heavy multitasking because I know its capacity and I don't even play games on phone neither do I multitask. But this 9A cannot perform basic tasks such as web browsing without lagging. Just to open my dialler or open my messages takes several seconds to load.

The other issues I have with the phone is the RAM stats, Battery usage stats and Memory usage stats are all incorrect and inconsistent. In addition to that, the 5000mah battery is wack and doesn't last long at all. Sometimes when I power it ON, it gets stucked on the Redmi boot logo until I force it OFF and ON it again. I just pray it doesn't get stucked permanently one of these days. Most of these issues are also experienced by the so-called midranger and high end users.

2. The Infinix Hot 8 that you mentioned and the Redmi 9a, which one do you think is the better device?
Obviously the hot 8 with better Battery optimization and bugs free. All my usage stats will also be correct and consistent.

[s]The Redmi 9a's Helio G25 will outperform the useless Helio A22/P22 combo on that overpriced piece of plastic.
[/s]

On paper.

Majority of those devices you are comparing are not in the same price range. No sane person will pick hot 2 and Mi note 10 or even Redmi 8 and expect the hot 2 to still keep-up.
Do a fair comparism and let's analyze.

So if you were too poor to afford a Xiaomi midranger, that's not on us. Take the lamentations elsewhere. I have the Redmi 9a and I take fine photos with it, as well as run my playstation one and J2ME emulators on. It works fine.
Poor? You have a very small mind and your reasoning is shallow. I have a Samsung and this Redmi is my second phone. If I should go with this your shallow reasoning, then I can as well say you are poor because according to you, everyone using 9A is poor. Can you see how daft you sound?

Can you point me to a post here where someone using Mi 11 Ultra or your definition of high end user was complaining of his phone suffering from "most of these issues" like you claim?
