Baseless talk.

People only rate Fela higher coz he is late. People respect the dead more.

Quoting Rick Ross "Niggaz only respect niggaz that's dead or niggaz in prison"

If you doubt the quote, tell me how many living peoples' face are on currencies. Na only dead people dey currency notes.

Nelson Mandela earned his respect for going to prison. Some of our former presidents have been in prison.
I am not a fan of any of them. But it's plain stupid to compare someone who was known internationally when there was no social media , no internet, negligible amount of television to someone who came in an era someone can become a star overnight via a viral video. Please don't ever compare both cause back then you must be creative to be at the top. Now all you need is one stupid track because it's a generation of senseless people.

just read what you wrote up there...does it seem reasonable to you?

If it's that easy why not release a stupid track and jump to the top. Do you know how many people have been in the industry for over a decade without a single hit track? Please let's stop arguing emotionally. Don't take anything away from wizkid's talent.
