No you only quarantine at final destination

And that's if you not fully vaccinated 14 days before your travel date. Eg if you took your last dose of 1st of July then, you will deemed as fully vaccinated on 16th July. If I were you I will add another 3 days to it even 4 days. I hate stories

Guys I will advise we update ourselves with travel advice on travel.gc.ca. Also check on the Province of territory you heading to. Take your time and read through what they saying covid19/Self-isolation /Quarantine.

Ok thanks for the correction

Sorry about your situation. Yes enrollment letter is a requirement for him to even board a plane from Nigeria. But assuming they do not ask for enrollment letter, now he does not have admission at the moment, so what will be the purpose of going to Canada? What is your plan? For him to get another admission while in Canada? Most schools have closed admission window for Winter 2022 too. He cannot change DLI outside Canada also except he applies for a new SP. I think the best is to keep writing and calling the school for them to re instate him for the fall 2021 and pray for a change of mind.
Someone on this NL had same issue though for hers, the school had not resumed but she was eventually re instated.
All the best

The school has replied, said can defer to Sept 2022 ,I hope if we finally got him another Admission for January, I hope he can still travel to resume January class in another school?

quote author=Globalk post=105776619]Hello good people of this great platform. I have been searching for wayout on Google , just found this great platform here. Pls , I applied Admission for my cousin to NBCC and we paid tuition non refundable confirmation fee of 500$ and fortunately for him , his visa was approved , so I requested for his enrollment letter as adviced by a family in Canada. On requesting for his enrollment letter on 8th Sept, 2021, the school replied that his Admission has been cancelled since he did not attend the first class on 7th Sept and we have already booked his flight ticket, just want cancel it now , pls , do you think the enrollment letter will not be asked as the point of entry if he decide to travel, after sending several calls/mails to the school, the school replied that we can only defer his Admission to September, 2022 . Pls, I truely need your candid advice ooo. VERY URGENT, AND THOSE THAT RECENTLY ENTER CANADA SHOULD PLS REPLY IF THE ENROLLMENT LETTER IS NEEDED

I’m not a gurus ooo, but as your cousin paid his/her full tuition fees? because most of these school always have the deadline for full tuition fee and this might be the reason why the admission was cancelled coz his/her non refundable fee is just to secure seat.
not yet , has paid Tru form A but never reached school bf cancelled, so we cancelled the form A. What's your advice for this guy, he's so depressed now

Very detailed! nice one
mastersammy:
Hello Canadian Aspirants.....
This information is for Applicants out there that there study visa app has been refused and they are thinking of giving up in their pursuit to study in their dream country Canada. I was inspired to put this down bcus I noticed some Applicants are giving up and are pulling the plug of their plans to move to Canada .
I don't blame them anyways, cus Canada embassy has a way of putting people into anxiety, curiosity and frustration base on the long wait and other things. But the thing is,there is a good news now, Applicants doesn't have to give up their dream to live and study in Canada anymore.

Basically, I understand whenever an applicant visa is refused, they usually feel devastated and overwhelmed with sadness, naturally that's how you will feel but don't allow it to weigh you down and affect your thoughts in making the right decision. My dear I have good news for you, don't be sad, rather dust yourself up and wipe your tears and face the problem at hand and tackle it.

What I'm about to share with you now may look weird to you but in my own perspective its the pure truth.
Now whenever ircc denies an applicant visa, to me it's an opportunity that needs to be capitalized on, like it gives the applicant an edge , it increases the applicant chances of getting the visa next time the applicant reapply.
I know this sounds weird but I will explain further for your better comprehension, in order to clear the grey areas for you.

Now what do I mean by this ?

Whenever ircc denies someone visa they will definitely list out the refusal grounds. Now you as an applicant needs to take hold of this opportunity and turn the sour situation to your favour. As a matter of fact ,you stand a higher chance of getting the visa compare to first timers who are about to apply.

Let me drop an example so that you will grab wat I'm trying to say.

Whenever ircc gives you refusal reasons, they are technically telling you , this is where and where you got it all wrong and this is where you need to address their concerns.
Now it's now left for you as an applicant to carefully and cautiously address the concerns laid out by VO and by doing this, you ve allayed the areas they have fears on and this will cause chain reaction by making them to approve the next visa application submitted.

At times, Applicant use to be in a hurry to reapply for study visa bcus they don't want to miss their class resumption after being denied without first not carefully tackling the refusal reasons given to them and after days, weeks or months of reapplying, they will still get the same denial and the same refusal reasons.
This is where most of Applicants gets it wrong.

Whenever a visa is denied , they need to take a chill and take their time and tackle the reasons given to them before resubmition.

Now whenever a refusal reasons are given to you, ircc is given you a hint on the areas that cause your visa to be denied, so copy those reasons and start tackling them one by one..
And again I strongly encourage ppl to always go for GCMS note, which will give them a comprehensive list of their refusal reasons, whenever there app is denied.
Mind you, the refusal reasons in that refusal letter ircc sent to you, there is a high chance that is not the only reason behind your visa refusal, sometimes dey use to give generic reason.
But ordering GCMS note will give you first hand of the details of all the refusal reasons given to you.
This explains why some ppl after being denied, they will only tackle the refusal reasons written in the refusal letter, thinking that it's the only reason given to them without knowing there are more to it and at the end, they will still get dia app denied again.
For instance, if your refusal letter contains only 2 refusal reasons and you went ahead to order your gcms note and you might get to see that your gcms contains 3 or 4 refusal reasons behind your app denial, so do you now see what I mean.
Pls don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a must you will order your gcms note after denial, No...
At times, the refusal the number of reasons that came with the refusal letter might still be the same reasons written in the Gcms note but you can't take any chances, can you, just to be sure.
So ordering GCMS note helps the next study application you will reapply stand a higher chance of getting approved.

Now in summary to all these I've said, when your visa is denied, don't be sad but rather be hopeful bcus your chances of getting the visa has been increased, how to I mean, that is if you carefully tackle the refusal reasons given to you by ircc, it increases and boast your chances of getting the visa in your next attempt.
That explains why so many many students studying in Canada today, they applied for Canada visa 2 to 3 times before they get their visa approved.

Now let be come down as kindergarten as I can in given another example for ppl who still don't understand the message I'm trying to pass across.

(As a student that fails an assignment, the teacher will write down the assignment corrections on the board for the students to take down, learn and study it, then during examination the same questions given for the assignment will be repeated again, now those that learned and study the corrections made during that period will be able to answer the exam questions correctly this time)
Do you now get the logic........

Finally, don't forget to involve God in this your Canadian study visa journey for Divine intervention cus whoever God's Grace speaks for you, doors for visa approval will be open for you and not even the VO will stop it.

These are my close Observation base on how people get their visa approved and take note of them, so if your an applicant out there whose visa has been rejected and your saying your tired of Canada, don't lose hope, be firm and highly resolved, you will surely get the visa.

I got to to the airport at about 4:45pm on the 10th of September. I tipped the security at the entrance to allow my husband and cousin in, the guy was just forming activity. When I got in, I was directed to NDLEA to check for drugs, that one too asked for tip. After there, the agricultural people sighted me and asked me to head to their counter because I had one bag of food. What I noticed is that if I wasn’t carrying a Ghana must go back, he wouldn’t have approached me. I paid 2k for the bag.

Hello guys, please I would be very grateful for your thoughts and guidance in my quest below.

Plannie22:

Hi guys, Just a quick question, please. My admission has to be deferred to next year January. PPR had been approved. If I get my passport stamped and I decide not to go to the Canadian school in January anymore and apply to an American or UK school for next year. Will my application for the UK or a US visa next year be refused because I collected a Canadian student visa this year and did not end up going to the Canadian school?

Please help.

Copied from Gracedson

How I sent my Passport to Abuja.

I did my Biometrics in Lagos but I sent my passport to Abuja,
So I had to pay a transmission fee of NGN 8,920 to this account
CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.

I bought a fresh brown envelope and added the following documents, so follow:

- Your International Passport itself (That your passport !!)

- Print only 1 copy of the transmission fee payment receipt and put in your envelope

- 2 copies of your passport data page (I printed it in colored copy)

- Those stapled papers that was given to you after the completion of your Biometrics (put them as it is [original copy] not the photocopy)

- The PPR letter (1 copy)

- 2 copies of the Consent form (I filled and signed the second page only) . Download the consent from here: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/dominicanrepublic/pdf/Consent-Form-TTS-English.pdf

- A plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number (this is not really needed though, but I added it)
NOTE: I paid for 2 ways Courier at DHL and insured it to and fro

2 courier means: As I am sending my passport to Abuja, I want Abuja to send back my STAMPED passport to the address I stated on the Courier.

,

Please how many days did it take them to return the passport?

Good evening,I observed with dismay that some of the delay am seen this day are Applicants with self sponsors with refusal note of personal assets and financial status

Please is it difficult for self sponsors' Applicant to get approval.Must someone looks for sponsors when applying despite been a matured student going for PGD or Masters programs

I got PPR as self sponsored. I can't say my application was superb, l know l did my best and l left the rest for Got.

To prove home ties and assets, all my siblings reside in nigeria and never travelled before. I have a good job after my undergraduate degree, so the salary reflected on my bank statement. I also got study leave offer with half and a clause was attached that l must return after my studies to work for 2year with them.

My SOP was well structured with subheadings. All l can say is that, God did it for me.

I submitted only my account statement and the loan letter from mpower financing.

Thanks. Greatly!

Another question, she has two Human Resources Companies that was registered with CAC and bank statements since 2020 and 2021 respectively. She runs the company as a part-time because her job is full-time and the company only supplies workers to organization that are in need to applicants as well as goods delivery . So she gets extra money daily and she pays herself from the company account monthly.

In the SOP and LOE would she capture the full-time and part-time work or pick one and ignore the other?

Not so much in our business account. Can she get a PPR with only her personal account?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Zocken: 6:39am On Sep 14, 2021
Guys, please help me. How best can I address this situation?
One is the issue of lump sum. I gave 10m (in 3 tranches) to someone for business for over 4 months. He is paying tl pay back now and I want to use it to support my wife's visa application. How can I prove it?

The 2nd issue is her occupation/ experience vis a vis her proposed course of study. She has BSc Accounting(2008), Msc Policy Analysis(2016). She is also ANAN Chartered (2017). She's got admission for PDG Accounting(College ;2 years) and Master of Organizational Management (University;1yr). We have a company (fully registered) which we use for general contract (she's the highest share holder) and also works as an Auditor with a Federal Government agency for over 10 years, albeit with a salary of less than 100k. Her current account balance is about 4m with reasonable inflow and outflow for the last 3 months.

Now to my worries;

(1) Which course is best for her considering her work experience, study gap, salary and financial situation?
(2) I want her to be self sponsored and I want the 10m paid into her account. 5m has already been paid into the company account. How do we explain this lump sum payment considering that the company hardly does any contract (the last major payment into the account was 27m in 2014)?

People of God, please share your thoughts. I believe we are all here to help one another....
