Okay so I went for HIV test with my auntie when I was little, the result was out and it was negative. Little me was worried and sad when my auntie told me the test result. I questioned her why it wasn’t positive, does that mean I have HIV? She laughed so hard and said “Negative means I don’t have the disease.” I wasn’t satisfied until my mom explained everything to me.  14 Likes |

I was around 7 to 8 yrs old and Was sent to buy kerosine but the price had increased from maybe 2 naira to 2.20 naira.. Was with my younger brother and we just agreed to kuku buy groundnut and eat.. I traveled with my family to the village for the Christmas holidays. I went out with my cousins for visitation and I drank a lot of palmwine. I became drunk and ran into a bush, cut out a very long cane and chased my grandma all around the compound while flogging her and calling her "ojuju calabar"  .It was really bad. I was just 10 years old. My older cousins lured me into drinking that much and because the palmwine was sweet and cold. I was finally stopped by my loving grand father who gave me a cold bath and palmoil to drink. My cousins still remind me of it though. But now It's funny. Rest in peace grandma. Then when I was in primary 4, I used to see the way my friend parents run era to satisfied them when they are sicks and me I hardly fall sick,so one evening like that I started forming sick, shivering, to the extend it became real so I was taken to clinic getting to clinic no doctor on duty, the nurse we met on duty forming guru gave me injection on vain. That nealy paralysed my leg had to stay back home for complete one year my leg became something very heavy couldn't walk to school, make me repeated class, still feeling bad about it today thank God my leg latter walk normal after a lot of treatment. 33 Likes |

My brother once told my mum that he had finished all the jollof rice in the cooler meanwhile he didn't. My mother was angry cos she wanted to eat the rice..but she let it go. I was in the kitchen listening to his lies. I opened the cooler saw the remaining jollof rice and ate it.. When he went later to eat the rice there was nothing left in the cooler. I remembered I flashed a neighbor's number repeatedly with the old phone and new sim my mom gave to me after she got a new one. Mom Shewa was discussing with a friend outside very close to our window, as it is the first room when entering the face me I slap you building. I kept flashing her number and enjoying the cruise. Until this woman started raining causes on the Oloriburuku that's flashing her number. She got fed up, and her next action shocked me. She came directly to knock on our door that do I've airtime on my phone, she needs to call this number disturbing her. Omo, I denied not having airtime and also not knowing my number off hand. After school every day, we used to play football making my uniform dirty, my father usually ask if I usually roll in the mud during school hours but I usually lied that it was due to the rigorous work on the school farm. Then a day came, the okada man my dad assigned to be transporting me failed to come but he has contacted my dad earlier in the day that he would not be available. My dad came to the school but most students were already out but he spotted a group of students playing ball near the school field. I was enjoying the match when the ball went outside for a throw in, I was about picking the ball when I saw a figure that looked like my father, I just stopped suddenly, I couldn't move a nerve, the boys were shouting Wale !!! go and pick the ball,time is going. I did not even acknowledge their protests, I finally wake up from my slumber, my father was looking at me like an hyena ready to pounce on a rabbit. I was looking for my school bag for almost a minute, little did I know that my bag was used as a marker for goal post, I carried the bag and the boys were shouting, wale!!! where are you going? we do not have another bag for making post!!!
