What is there to be scared of? That your son looks like your father isn't a big deal. I have seen children that will not resemble any member of the immediate family only to pick from one of the distant family members. That is why they said blood is thicker than water. As long as your father is not wicked when he was alive, this is a thing to be proud of. It confirms you are your father's son even though you don't look like him.

If I have a son that looks like my father, I will just hope he takes after many of his principles and behaviours; because the man is a king of men.

Definitely genetics at play. There is aways an uncle/auntie,father or mother, that the children almost always take after in resemblance and character. My daughter has a striking resemblance with my wife's elderly sister instead of me or my wife.. It's in the blood!

What's the need for this post? In genetics, it's confirmed that one offspring will be a direct copy of a previous generation. It's perfectly normal in biology for your child or grandchild to look exactly like your father, brother, grandfather or uncle even without meeting them. Because genes no dey pass by eyesight.

I look so much like my Dad, talk like him, walk like him. We look like identical twins, same height, similar face. Many times in the dark, my Mum mistakes me for my Dad sef. The resemblance is just too much
