I didn't see the u-18 game, I was taking a nap.

I am currently watching the Wolves V Brentford game, Brentford are one man down and still finding a way to actually attack and just hit the framework. That game against Young Boys was the last straw for me regarding Ole. Lol, I know you never believed in his capabilities based on the Amaka moniker grin

Amaka will always disappoint. Who no know go know, sooner or later.

I watched the Under-18s. It was their second good game on the bounce after a torrid start to the season. I had written them off after their first 2 games. I am not sure there is any huge talent in the group but they seem to have a decent number of okay players.

I think Mark Goldbridge is definitely Ole out now. According to him, the only reason he's not shouting it is Ole won't get the sack. He prefers asking for reforms and changes In the coaching personal. I mean dem carrick, phelan and co.

I think it is just an excuse cos he can't say the real reason: He viciously attacked so many OleOut in the past so he is afraid of the optics if he starts shouting OleOut now.

Man Utd 9 Southampton 0
Ole Out: The red card was the reason for the 9:0 win
Ole In: It was Ole work, Red card doesn't influence game.
Young Boys 2 Man Utd 1
Ole Out: Red card is not the cause of the defeat, it was Ole Ineptitude
Ole in: The red card was the cause of the loss as Man Utd was dominating before the Red Card

One thing no one can hold Jones against is his commitment. Even if he was injury prone and never got into rhythm, he never ever gave anything less than 100%.

No one can question his commitment to the club and desire to play. Man always left everything on the pitch and literally bled for this club.

Hope he recovers fully and gets 1st team football in some PL club.

What exactly is your point?

Are you saying we did well to get a point against them? If yes, how then do we intend to finish above them if we keep on with this mediocre mentality?

Some United fans do this everytime. Compare ourselves to whichever team is doing terrible in any shit week we find ourselves.

There will be games where we’ll drop points but that doesn’t mean we should put up a tepid display.

If Southampton had played with more spirit like they did today maybe we wouldn’t have equalized.

How we lose games/dropped points is quite important. The lackadaisical attitude we display when we drop points has been a recurring occurrence. Only the coach is to blame for that.

Our opponent can be tough or soft but the important thing is we must always be tough, especially against those tough opponents. We have to create chances, force fouls in dangerous areas, etc. That’s how to score against tough opponents. Sadly, we’re often toothless against those type of tough opponents.

West Ham beckons.

Lol.

We were far from lackadaisical against Southampton. We played well in that game, we just didn't convert our chances, especially in the first half.

Incidentally, the mat h against wolves was the one in which we were sh*t and it was the one that we won. Sometimes this things are not straight forward. grin

If anything, based on the performances in the two games, we more than did enough to win against Southampton, and we more than did enough to loose against Wolves.
Those games were weird as f*Ck

Liverpool will also drop points. However, I’m still tipping City over Liverpool as the main threat.

City may have dropped points today but remember that they can go on a 17-match WINNING run.

Our fate is in our own hands. We’ve started the season well, can we keep going till the end?

We could’ve won the Soton match. We played well in the first half and became clueless in the second half. 15 shots overall, just 4 on target.

We were performing below our level in those games. That’s the main point I was making.
