DO YOU KNOW THE FATHER? Luke 10:22 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. ” ONLY THE SON CAN REVEAL THE FATHER. HAS THE SON REVEALED THE FATHER TO YOU YET? OR YOUR PASTOR /church DID?; THEN YOU DONT KNOW THE FATHER YET! JESUS AND THE FATHER ARE ONE (JOHN 10:30) You cannot know the Father by your own WILL |

haekymbahd:Jesus had a dual nature : one that's divine,(God) and one that's human (man). And if you read the gospels, you'll see there are times He spoke as God and there are times He spoke as man . The time He might have made that utterance might have been when He was speaking as a Man . 1 Like |

haekymbahd:John 10:30 says " I and My Father are one ". So Philp (a disciple of Jesus ) wanting to know who the Father of Jesus was , asked Jesus Himself the question about the identity of the Father in John14:6-10 saying, " Lord ,show us the Father and it is sufficient for us ". Jesus then answered ,saying " Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father ...(John14:9-10). The above dialogue clearly says that Jesus is the Father . And since we all know that God is omnipresent ,He can be in multiple places at the same time doing different things . Why ? Because He is God and nothing is impossible with Him . And if you disagree with this , then you're only disagreeing with what Jesus said about Himself . Simple |

sonmvayina: Your problem is those Jews who wanted to erase Jesus' historicity due to jealousy {Act 4:18; 5:28} you will continue to hurt yourself each day just like those hopeless Jews because you're now in the midst of people arguing about Jesus real IDENTITY not about his existence because by denying the existence of Jesus you're condemning all Abrahamic religions stemming from that source! |

Ammishaddai:1 John 4 12 No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us! 13 By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit. 14 And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son [as the] Savior of the world. 15 Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God. This verse shows no one has seen God that God abides with those who confess that Jesus is of God whereas Jesus had been seen. Jesus said he was one with the Father because the Father was abiding in him. Whosoever beleives in Jesus God will abide with such person and he will also become one with the father just like Jesus and the father are one John 17 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: Jesus is not God(father) 1 Like 1 Share |

haekymbahd:1Timothy 3:16: says "Great is the mystery of godliness: for God was manifested in the flesh , justified in the spirit, seen by angels, and preached unto the gentiles and received up in glory ". This verse tells us that God ,in the form of Jesus Christ, revealed Himself . So God is no longer invisible ,but visible now in the form of Jesus Christ to all who believe. Secondly , Isaiah 9:6 foretells of God coming to save mankind in through human flesh by being a person like us . Kindly read it for more on the subject |

Ammishaddai:1Timothy 3:16: says "Great is the mystery of godliness: for God was manifested in the flesh , justified in the spirit, seen by angels, and preached unto the gentiles and received up in glory ". Although the above verse reads as “God was manifest in flesh”, majority of trinitarian Bible translations, read it as: “He was manifest in flesh.” A lot of Scholars agree that the word “God” was not in the original text, but was added by later scribes. The earliest and best manuscripts does not have the word “God” in it but rather “He”, “who” or “which.” Furthermore, even modern (Trinitarian) Bible translations disagree with the KJV and few other translations, for putting the word “God” in 1 Timothy 3: 16. Let’s now show what the other Bible Translations put for 1 Timothy 3:16, 1. American Standard Version 1901 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; HE who was manifested in the flesh. 2. Common English Bible Without question, the mystery of godliness is great: HE was revealed as a human. 3. Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) Great beyond all question is the formerly hidden truth underlying our faith: HE was manifested physically and proved righteous spiritually 4. Douay-Rheims 1899 And evidently great is the mystery of godliness, WHICH was manifested in the flesh, 5. English Standard Version Anglicised (ESVUK) Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: HE was manifested in the flesh. 6. NET Bible (©2006) And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: HE was revealed in the flesh. 7. Holman Christian Standard Bible (©2009) And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: HE was manifested in the flesh. 8. Good News Translation (GNT) No one can deny how great is the secret of our religion: HE appeared in human form. 9. Lexham English Bible (LEB) And most certainly, great is the mystery of godliness: WHO was revealed in the flesh, 10. THE MESSAGE He appeared in a human body, was proved right by the invisible Spirit 11. Aramaic Bible in Plain English (©2010) And this Mystery of Righteousness is truly great, WHICH was revealed in the flesh and was justified in The Spirit 12. New Century version HE was shown to us in a human body. 13. Mounce Reverse-Interlinear New Testament (MOUNCE) And undeniably great is the mystery of godliness, WHO was revealed in flesh. 14. Revised Standard version Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of our religion: HE was manifested in the flesh 15. Douay-Rheims And evidently great is the mystery of godliness, WHICH was manifested in the flesh. 16. New English Translation (NET) And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: HE was revealed in the flesh. 17. New International Version (NIV) Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: HE appeared in the flesh. 18. New International Version – UK (NIVUK) Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: HE appeared in the flesh. 19. New American Standard Bible By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: HE who was revealed in the flesh. 20. New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: HE was revealed in flesh. 21. English Standard Version Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: HE was manifested in the flesh 22. Revised Version 1881 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; HE who was manifested in the flesh. 23. The Voice (VOICE) And I think you will agree that the mystery of godliness is great: HE was revealed in the flesh. We see from the above trinitarian Bible translations all agree that the word “God” is not in there. 1 Like 1 Share |

haekymbahd:The King James bible's interpretation is the most accurate on translation of the Hebrew scripture . Most scholars agree that its translation is intact and it matches the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts perfectly. All other translations are not as accurate, and they do not hold any in depth interpretations as the King James bible . This is something you can verify in your quiet time or when you are less busy |

Ammishaddai:According to RSV bible on its preface it reads this Preface to the Revised Standard Version (2nd ed., 1971) The Revised Standard Version of the Bible is an authorized revision of the American Standard Version, published in 1901, which was a revision of the King James Version, published in 1611. The first English version of the Scriptures made by direct translation from the original Hebrew and Greek, and the first to be printed, was the work of William Tyndale. He met bitter opposition. He was accused of willfully perverting the meaning of the Scriptures, and his New Testaments were ordered to be burned as “untrue translations.” He was finally betrayed into the hands of his enemies, and in October 1536, was publicly executed and burned at the stake. Yet Tyndale’s work became the foundation of subsequent English versions, notably those of Coverdale, 1535; Thomas Matthew (probably a pseudonym for John Rogers), 1537; the Great Bible, 1539; the Geneva Bible, 1560; and the Bishops’ Bible, 1568. In 1582, a translation of the New Testament, made from the Latin Vulgate by Roman Catholic scholars, was published at Rheims. The translators who made the King James Version took into account all of these preceding versions; and comparison shows that it owes something to each of them. It kept felicitous phrases and apt expressions, from whatever source, which had stood the test of public usage. It owed most, especially in the New Testament, to Tyndale. The King James Version had to compete with the Geneva Bible in popular use; but in the end it prevailed, and for more than two and a half centuries no other authorized translation of the Bible into English was made. The King James Version became the “Authorized Version” of the English-speaking peoples. The King James Version has with good reason been termed “the noblest monument of English prose.” Its revisers in 1881 expressed admiration for “its simplicity, its dignity, its power, its happy turns of expression ... the music of it cadences, and the felicities of its rhythm.” It entered, as no other book has, into the making of the personal character and the public institutions of the English-speaking peoples. We owe to it an incalculable debt. Yet the King James Version has grave defects. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of Biblical studies and the discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation. The task was undertaken, by authority of the Church of England, in 1870. The English Revised Version of the Bible was published in 1881-1885; and the American Standard Version, its variant embodying the preferences of the American scholars associated in the work, was published in 1901 http://www.bible-researcher.com/rsvpreface.html 1 Like 1 Share |

haekymbahd:Hahaha...you're wrong again . The translation of the King James bible is super authentic and it has satisfied all acceptable biblical criteria for its acceptance . And what are those criteria ? 1. Inspiration : in Psalms 12 :6 ,it is written " The words of the Lord are pure words ,like silver tried in a furnace of earth Seven times . You shall keep them ,o Lord ,You shall preserve them from this generation for ever . Scholars have agreed that the King James bible has the manuscript evidence to prove this and you can compare it with the original Greek manuscripts and see the translation. You will not only find that the translation is authentic, but it has been preserved throughout biblical history . Hence fulfilling the promise of God's to preserve His word through all generations. 2.Manuscript evidence : Try glancing through the Greek text and see the manuscript evidence . You'll see that the accuracy of King James bible holds true for 5000 Greek texts which is super huge ! This level of accuracy is said to be at 99% and this is the highest so far when compared to other translation of the bible . In fact , no not even historical documents in circulation has this same level of accuracy. One thing you should note is that the King James version of the bible comes from the Byzantine text . This text is called Texus Receptus or "Majority text " and it has been available throughout every generation being handed down from generation to generation without corruption of any kind. This was the same text that was used in the days of the early church ,and it's still in conformity with the first criteria of God preserving His word through out every generation. Others translations you see out there come from what is called a mainline text also known as the Alexandrian text or Siniaticus and Vaticanius text (please read more on this ) . These texts come from 2-4 manuscripts and they were just discovered centuries later(after the byzantine text). So which should be more authentic...? The byzantine text . Why ? Because ty they are older and have been used throughout the ages . This means they are in conflict with what God said in Pslam12:6 of preserving His word throughout every generation . Please Google this to know more. |

Ammishaddai: So in essence those who wrote the RSV lied on the KJV with their preface right? But in reality, you're the one refusing to accept the Truth! More manuscripts were discovered which were earlier that those used for the translation of KJV. KJV had grave defects! I know it will be hard for you to swallow this but your scriptures were never preserved except with faith. The Bible had been a work in progress since the second century after Jesus till today! See some defects from your Doctor of Divinity D.D. below. http://www.bible-researcher.com/kjvdefects.html |
Re: Only Jesus Can Reveal To You The Father by Ammishaddai: 8:14am On Sep 19, 2021 |
AntiChristian:I already explained to you the two criteria used by scholars to assess any translation of the bible , and so far, the King James bible passes both test flawlessly . Those who argue about its authenticity are either arguing based on a criteria they themselves just formulated to weaken an already established fact . And to me that has an alterior motive . |
