I've never seen a dull Assistant like Carrick before. I don't even know his Duty on the Bench. At least we do see McKenna whispering to Ole and standing up to pass Instructions, same as ineptitude Phelan - who learned nothing from SAF.

that "run" is the reason the Matic-Pogba pivot cannot be carried, but they engage the game with more intelligence and precision.
a change of midfield shape can mask some of that, but this wouldn't be an issue at all if the right personnel was brought in transfer since we already have settled on a formation.

Tactical Masterclass from Sir Ole. All substitution was spot on.

The key for me was the Matic Sub. That pass is underrated. He was the one with a delicious pass thru the lines into Lingard in a dangerous position. That was the sub along with Lingard obviously that won us the game.

I think its time Ole start rotating Pogba and Bruno sometimes. Both can play as an attacking Midfielder, towards the end of this game, Brunobwas tired

I have always been of this opinion too...

Like Oasis007 also opined, this idea of trying to "acommodate" Pogba by all means is detrimental to the team.
