I had to just give him props after he said Ligue 1 defenders were equal to EPL defenders.

The back and forth is counter productive, if Ligue 1 had farmers for defenders, Mbappe would have been scoring over 40 goals per season after all he also plays in that same PSG set up.

The reason why I asked for the combined 11 is to highlight that we too have a lot of quality players...

If we sampled the opinions of folks about a lot of Chelsea players whilst Lampard was coach, I am certain very few persons will say anything good of Rudiger and Alonso. At was point it was as if Azpi was done at the top level and Kante was past it but look at them now. If we had Tuchel rather than Ole, Sancho will most likely be tearing up the league, VDB and a host of our players will play to their true potentials leading to pundits rating us very highly but that's not the case now so it looks like we don't have a very good team when it's not really the case.

The goal stats for each Ligue 1 season should point to the fact that their defenders are not that bad. Moreso, that league churns out some of the finest DM who also help in shielding the defense...

In summary, while they may be relatively unknown, they are not farmers neither are they grossly inferior to their peers in more popular leagues...

Low block or not, Pogba was just poor. If he's playing well it doesnt matter if its a low block. He can play against any type of team set up. Shaw does a good job providing width.
