Omo if u know the Poland is being difficult change oooh . Change to another country . For me I can’t kill my self with this Poland appointment wahala. My Poland work permitt almost expire for my hand because of appointment since April . My Croatia work permit came out after 30 days with the help of my employers and my appointment is book already in VFS center. To leave Nigeria is the main goal, Poland embassy is not encouraging at all. Note am not agent , don’t ask me how I did my Croatia own. Am just here to encourage people who are confuse on what to do . Good luck all

Good evening, please when you register on VFS global as a new user, how long does it takes to get an activation link in your email. I registered this morning I'm yet to get an email from them.

Bleep, this work permit is stupid if they won’t even give u half refund , it doesn’t make sense. It’s like paying for school the school will refund u, atleast for the work permit u should get half refund. Dis is madness , so hard earned money will just be wasting

Me i am still expecting my work permit its been tiring cause i don jump go tell my Manager here that i am leaving and like this i suppose get promotion this month and they might block it even tho i havent resigned. I will just be hopeful and resign if they promote and they dont promote me.

You would'nt have told your manager yet, work permit takes between 2-3months before it comes out. That's enough time to gather more more from the office.

The entire process could take between 4-5month

Heard there is a delay in work permit issuance and it may reach year end before issuance. How true please?

Lol � that’s ridiculous. Pls work permit is not visa, one thing is to get work permitt, another thing is to get visa . Don’t resign yet from ur job, unless u have other better reason to resign

Congrats bro! I have interest in some universities there. I was going through some universities websites there and it happens that some has already ended registration for the year. I'll be preparing for next year.

Not totally true. But I can tell u with certainty that Work permits for skilled jobs right now are being prioritized and processed faster over work permits for non-skilled jobs.

So if you are a skilled worker applying for a skilled position most often your work permit should take an average of 30 to 45 days max.

If you are applying for a non skilled position, u MAY experience longer than usual waiting periods. Not always the case but happens very often than not.

So just to clarify so u understand. A skilled job does not necessarily mean u need to write a test.
A skilled job is more like a job that requires specific set of skills and training for example a plumber, a welder etc . An unskilled job on the other other hand refers to a Job that does not really require you to possess specific skills or training for example meat factory worker , cleaner etc .

On a general note based on experience most good employers I have come across will actually test your skills for a skilled job on video yes....they do.
Not all do but most will.....just to ensure that the applicant really possesses the skill in question.
Hands on Skills test on video is usually a requirements from the employer as part of the process for these skilled jobs. So u cannot fake it nope. This is not usually the same for unskilled jobs.

And just as an FYI, the visa success rate for skilled workers is actually most often much higher if certain measures are in place and they meet the requirements of course.

Most skilled workers I’ve come across who applied for a work visa actually got visa as long as they met the requirements and proved verifiable skills. Most often their prospective employers go as far as contacting the embassy on their behalf as part of the application process.

The appointment draw process for work visas also favors skilled workers most . They are given the most priority.
