Good morning all

Is there anyone here that applied to MUN MBA and got admission without GMAT and also how long does it take to get admission from the school?

Can anybody suggest a relatively cheap university for MBA without GMAT requirement.

To the bolded

Check the
MBA program at Thompson River University (TRU), British Columbia, they don't require GRE/GMAT

Visit the link below for more details about the MBA program at TRU
https://www.tru.ca/distance/programs/business-management/mba.html

Check the
MBA program at University of Canada West (UCW), British Columbia, a member on this platform confirmed sometime ago that UCW don't require GRE/GMAT, do make your research on that to confirm.

See the link below for more info on the MBA program at UCW
https://www.ucanwest.ca/graduate-programs/master-of-business-administration#On_Campus_MBA_Tuition_Fees

Also Check the Tuition amount for International students for both schools to confirm if its relatively cheap or not. Good luck!!!

According to IRCC, you do not need to submit any new LOA, they’ll keep processing applications till up to 150 days since your term started

My application is that of faith. So I started the journey last year around June/July 2020. The first University I saw offering my course (Special Education Specialization in Education of the Deaf) was University of British Columbia, and after going through their website and the department, I reached out to supervisors. I found out there are just two supervisors that could supervise my PhD study.

The first told me that my proposal is interesting but she is retiring soon and cannot take a PhD student. The 2nd person told me that she has so much on her hands and cannot take a student at the moment. I persuaded and persuaded but it all reached a dead end.

I started hunting again, I reached out to two supervisors in University of Alberta, one told me she is retiring soon and I am left with one option. Happily she accepted to supervise me and encouraged me to apply.

I later got to know she just start work a month before I reached out to her. Admission portal opened and I applied... And the wait started from October till 16th March 2021. I was admitted. Sadly though, without any funding. I reached out to her about that and she said she will offer me research assistant for the fall term, that the grant she applied for is yet to be approved.

I acted in faith, paid my full Tuition fee (8700cad), showed 2mil in my account, 1mil in my pension account, 4kCad from my supervisor for assistantship and two weeks later the department sent me 5kcad scholarship and I uploaded it through webform.

So In all my POF is not up to 25kCAD. It's just for one year. And I am going for 4year PhD. And I am self sponsored as I couldn't get anyone that will sponsor me. So I was really really scared but I trusted My God Jehovah.

Only MBS

Pls I have a question.

For the application, does my sponsor also have to print out his bank statement to submit alongside his MBS or just submitting his MBS alone is fine?

Landing gist

Firstly, Thanks to Almighty God for making this possible. My flight was on 20th (luthfansa) 10:55pm
I Arrived at Mm1 Lagos around 6pm and my bags were weighed, one was 19kg and second was 22kg then I proceedto get my boarding pass . I was asked my Enrollment, Passport, Covid test and school offer letter then I was given my boarding pass . We left Lagos 10:55 to Frankfurt which was about 6hrs + journey . There was 4hours lay over before we continued to Toronto which was about 7hours too . My POE was Toronto and I was asked to login my school portal and show the immigration the courses I enrolled for because I started online September 8 then my study permit was issued then I connected to my flight going to Nova Scotia.. I’m sorry if this is not well detailed. I pray people waiting for Ppr will be answered very soon . Thanks

Such a lazy response. At least they should know they are playing with people's career

Hello Guys,
Got 3rd refusal today based on financial grounds.
I provided 3rdbparty sponsor and made 9k tuition.deposit.
Though the sponsor provided me with funds in my account 8m, which sat in my account since sept 2020. thats like a year.
My gcms notes received last week stated that I have enough funds but VO raised concern over relationship with sponsor.
I immediately sent webform 10th sept with evidence of relationship but not sure it was updated before final decision.

I intend to reapply but I want to know if I can now claim self sponsor since the over 1 yr fund of 8m still in my acc and already deposited 9k tuition to school since last sept. or should I fill my sponsor as co-sponsor this time around?

Any advice please.

Sorry to hear about your refusal, please order your notes, see the actual reasons for refusal. On your reapplication, seek help from the gurus here in tackling the VO concerns. I believe I will be reading your testimony in your next application.

It will end in praise in Jesus Name.

My own refusal love letter came in on September 20th. Applied May 16th.
I had never been more relieved wow! The waiting was worse than the refusal always wondered how I would have coped if I had nothing else doing with my life ohhh ah.
What worried me the most was that I applied without my family the thought of travelling without them especially my kids gave me nightmares, definitely packaging my next application with my kids at least leave my hubby and work as home tie.

I would rest from refreshing mail and and clearing cache hahaha

All the best to everyone waiting and congratulations to the recent ppr holders.

Congratulations to all the latest PPR recipients!!!

@Lianna2020 created a new moniker to announce her good news and someone mentioned her new account has been banned. I don't know if that claim is valid. However if that's the case, I humbly appeal to the moderator behind this to soft pedal. The lady in question has been very active and contributes positively here thereby enriching the thread. In addition to that, even after getting PPR and landing, she still hanged around to help others. That has not always been the case with so many people that get PPR and disappear (which is understandable because of tight schedule and pressures from work and studies).

Again, the moderator should kindly reconsider his or her position. This is my humble submission.

@justwise.....kindly unban Lianna2020
