So yester-night I was sleeping and i heard some noises but didn't go out...so this morning I saw this dead cat in my backyard exactly the place I heard the noise yesterday

What do you think possibly kill this cat because i locked my gate and there is no way Dog can enter

quite possibly a civet can easily kill a cat,it looks like a small leopard,moves at night and can climb a skyscraper

probaby a snake... If its a constriction snake like the boa or python.. It should swallow it whole... I think its done by a poisonous snake that only struck for self defense. Most poisonous snakes donot feed on large preys.

You can check for marks like this to confirm a snake bite... Check for lacerating injuries to identify a bigger cats attack ( maybe a civet or fox)

I also think its a snake, that thing looks like something from a snake belly or rather, or rather it died of old age and was drenched by last night rain

It can only be a python.

Analyzing the image and the OP's report :

1. the cat looks drenched in liquid (most likely the python's gastric fluid)
2. No sign of laceration or deep teeth bite
3. You heard noise, most likely the noise of the cat only which means it was strangled to death.
4.And why the cat is still here is because the python spat it out due to discomfort or because it had to escape due to what ever reason.

Be on the watchout for the python as nature is about to provide you with free meat for peppersoup grin

Domestic animal. Only a dog can do this. If it's not a dog, then, it's a roaming honey badger.
