I figured this out after he lost to Ruiz and then danced around on his rematch with Ruiz. Any Boxer that is a brawler will beat AJ.
I'm a huge fan of his because of his humble demeanour but very cautiously optimistic whenever he fights.

That immediate rematch clause thing should be scrapped. Every fighter should take any fight like it’s the last opportunity! Usyk impressed me. Stamina won him the fight, and with technique of course. AJ reducing weight didn’t help. AJ ought to have gone to fight bigger and much stronger, with looking to knock Usyk out. That was what I expected when their fight was announced, only to see AJ losing so much weight just before the fight. Even Chisora put Usyk in more danger than AJ did. AJ is too gentlemanly to be a fighter. I think he should call it quits. He has made enough money to last him for a long time.
