She's right in a way.

Love won't buy pampers, food, clothes or school fees.

But she should also be rich to demand a rich husband.

Marriage is not poverty alleviation.

As a regular plumber, you can be honoured all right, but you are not getting any wealthy. For the most part, wealth is created by ideas, not through regular jobs.

You cannot demand respect from people when your source of income is shady to say the least.

it doesn't work that way. Again, you dont have to show any receipts but people will be people and will question your source of income.

Besides, a rich woman would not say, "i want a rich man to take care of me and our unborn children". What is the use of her getting rich?
