There is something Nigeria ladies dont understand.
The western culture they are trying to copy.
Both the responsibilities of the household is shared.
The bills, and the care..
The man may pay for house rent, health and school bills but the wife will pay for water bills, light bills, food bills.
The bills are spilted equally.
The husband pays 50% and the remaining 50% goes to the wife.
If it is that way, then I agree the future is female.

Not equally but equitably. I say this because what if one spouse earns significantly more than the other spouse? It wouldn't make sense for spouse A to pay $15k in bills if their annual salary is $30k a year. I agree with everything else you said though. Western cultures seem to embrace a more give and take relationship, trying to share things and create balance. People in Nigeria seem too concerned with following certain gender roles (when it suits them) and bragging in front of their friends about how they lead their marriages.
