Why are some of you so daft and dumb? Equating Spain to your dungoen called nigeria? Have you ever heared that Catalonia protesters where shot and killed by the Spanish police? Did you know that Catalonia has their regional government in Spain and enjoys autonomy? Why are you so dumb? Are you aware that during elections in Spain and in Catalonia, people are not shot dead, and the votes of their people counts after each election? You want to involve IPOB in nigeria politics with how many senators, to get what exactly for you? Dumbo answer me. Tufiakwa!! Illiterate.

He is not talking about IPOB taking part in Nigerian elections but using their God given brain.
I can't believe that at this stage, IPOB can't boast of a dedicated mole within Nigerian political structure irrespective of Party.
That is exactly why Igbos ESN can't boast of smuggling any good weapon into Nigeria but rely on the ones they can get from Nigerian Security structure (ordinary AK-47).
Use your brain. In warfare, the importance of moles cannot be over emphasised.

Shut your crap and stop displaying your mediocrity in the public, stop ridiculing your kingsmen because I know some of them are strong enough to slug it out with anyone from any region. Be man enough for once and fight for what you so much desire, SW and SS would not fold thier hand and let north continue, if it is your destiny to remain slave to the north, thats your business and not other region from the south
There is a high possibility I won't be there with you people at that time.

The way hate is growing in your heart is becoming alarming, nobody will dash any region presidency if that's what's peppering your body.

Nigerian will vote any credible candidate irrespective of region that doesn't mean the politicians from those region would sit back a expect a free launch.

SE position on VAT would determine Southern support they would get at the appropriate time. So, stop emotional whining and confront your plague. There's no free launch in politics. No one would dash you president in 2023 if you don't work for it

But you want to scheme out the north, so they can dash it to you yoruba under your amorphous southern unity rubbish?

Shebi you baboons are good at shouting down on the Igbos whenever they complain about marginalization and unfairness? You'll learn about fairness and equity the hard way in this country. I assure you. grin

But how can we support Igbo candidate when your PDP isn't even ready to field one. Lol, jokers

Just as your cunning and mischievous Politicians from SW admitted that for equity and fairness the North should hand over to a southern president.

We want them to also publicly admit that for same equity and fairness, any new Southern president MUST come from SE.

Admit this first, then we talk of Political party politics.

This is the honesty we are talking about. If you can't admit that, and you want to mischievously claim that every NIGERIAN should be qualified to run for president, then why did you try to guilt trip the North into not contesting?
You are not as wise as you think you are, we can see through your petty games and gimmicks.

There is no hate here bro.
If you see any, maybe it's your reflection, we tend to see what is in us in others.

So you know Nigerians should vote just any credible candidate, yet some of you have been putting pressure on the North not to contest in 2023 while mischievously citing need for equity as reason why power should return to South.
But when we remind you that the SW has been president twice and vice president twice since 1999 while SS has tasted VP and Presidency within that same time frame, and so therefore for real equity it should be SE presidency Agenda in 2023 and not be thrown open for the other two zones, you all suddenly change music.
You see the dishonesty and blatant insult to our intelligence as a people.

If SE after all the support we gave to Obj for SW presidency twice and GEJ for SS presidency twice and even supported their 13% derivation, cannot get you lots to support us for 2023 out of magnanimity, equity, fairness and everything right , honest and just, then forget it, we have already gotten a good measure of all of you.
We will play you at your game from now onwards.

No emotions should be attached.

What consign you with how other region play their politics when you too have a level playing ground to play. The way things are going SW PDP will have no choice than to support SS in their primary if PDP eventually zone it's presidential ticket to South.

Stop being emotional and face the reality, I know many genuine Igbo don't reason the way you do because you have allowed emotion to becloud your sense of reason

The OP assumes that the South east governors actually care about their own people rather than their personal interests.

I've learned over the years to not trust Igbo politicians particularly the governors (or even presidency) until they show their hands.

A lot of Igbo trusted Jonathan and thought he had a plan until they found out that he had none, except for himself -soft landing out of Aso rock.

A lot of Igbo also trusted PDP until the party demoted Igbo steadily till they lost out even the Dep. Senate president position.

This race to the bottom will only ensure that the presidency stays in the North forever.

Who will stop Miyetti Allah from stealing our land if we play this type of politics?

The Yorubas have the VP position today, but the Fulanis will take their land before they even dream of taking Igboland. grin

The best politics to play is one whereby you take over your land. It doesn't matter what happens in Abuja! cool

You trusted the wrong people and got scammed. When last did you trust with your brains instead of your heart. Imagine the comment. Did GEJ tell you to trust him? Did he understood what you are going through as an Igbo man? He only went there for his people and empowered them in every sphere. What benefit was GEJ Presidency to you an Igboman? And yet you supported stupidly without weighing your interest.
Was PDP an Igbo party or a party dominated by strange bed fellows? You were willing to trust others but not your own blood and you got burnt. So why complain?

There is no rotation anywhere.

But he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

If are telling the North to give up presidency to the SOUTH because they just completed second term, why then do you want the presidency thrown open to SW and SS in the South, both of who have tested the presidency since 1999 , and VP as well, when SE haven't tested any of those.

Don't be silly.
Supporting GEJ was another blunder from SE in retrospect now.
We should have played it then like we are currently playing on VAT.

All Nigerian Politicians are useless, true.
But I'd rather have an Igbo politician at the top than have non-Igbo groups on top calling the shots .
Nothing stops us from getting our politics right and still have ESN chasing Miyetti out of our forests.
Both are not mutually exclusive.

So finally, SE governors got the memo and delivered!

Kudos to Governor Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi, Uzodimma, Obiano and Umahi.

Unu nwelu ubulu zuru ezu.

The way they completely avoided the matter of VAT like it's no man business is a music to my ears.
And they refused to get drawn in the mischievous *Southern presidency* SW is leading, when if it's about equity, fairness and magnanimity, they should be talking of SE presidency. Seeing as SE had supported SW president in 2003 and 1999 and SS president in 2011 and 2015.
But these people are not honest, so we have to play them at their own game.

We have finally mature as a political zone in this country.

IPOB and other emotional Igbo youths eager to see SE stand with SW/SS at this point in time, should grow a brain and think like a people with ako na uche.

Everything aburo gidigidi. These our governors are not worst than their counterparts all over the country, I understand we want them standing with us for Biafra, but that is not possible for now.
To get Biafra, we have to solve the Nigeria Political puzzle and I'm happy that current Igbo governors have a better grasp of the Political conundrum of SE than those before them. Politically now, the North are not our enemies, neither are the SS and SW our friends, let alone brothers. Everyone is out for their own interests and we MUST protect our own interests even if it means getting other region burnt to ashes figuratively, we will still do it.

There are millions of reasons why we should be angry with our 5 SE governors, but their stance on VAT and Southern presidency isn't one of them.
On those two issues, they represented us well so far and should be commended.

What's funny is how you think your leaders are playing chess when in reality they're playing ludo. Last time I checked no Yoruba leader came to beg the south east for votes in any election, plus southern presidency is only but a few in the issues that where brought up, the VAT issue which would largely benefit the oil producing south south and other productive states are also being supported by the south west which have nothing to loose in the long run. Plus how does my opinion or the opinion of south west governors affect the decision of the political parties and decision of millions of voters in the north and south? It's one thing to field an Igbo presidency it's another thing for him to win. Or do you propose we rig an Igbo president into office?

On the last part, I still don't understand why IPOB can't see beyond their nose.
How do they think Taliban survived US, Russian and British invasion?
How do they think Eritrea defeated Ethiopia?
Or South Sudan manage to become independent?

You can't undermine the effect of real Power in insurrection, revolution or any movement like this. And that real power is from those existing in the current power structure.
Currently only Anambra State in SE have refused to voluntary invite Military into any affairs of the state because unlike the remaining 4, they are not part of the two arms of Nigeria (PDP and APC). Look at it this way as the only independent arm of Ndigbo in Nigerian politics. That's why the remaining 4 can't stand Anambra in even Economic impact.

If Anambra manage to lose that Umbrella courtesy to their No Election in November, it will be hell for them because they will lose that shield they never knew protects them.

Anyways, the curious part of me still want to see what they wish to achieve with such self destructive stupidity because I have never seen such in all my research. It is new and I will like to see how it ends.

IPOB just can't seem to get the basics right.
As a proud Biafran, it's painful watching them get things awfully wrong from the stands.

Which power did the SE enjoy. You mean the ceremonial Presidency of Zik?

Ok, Shagari from the NW ruled in 1979 and yet the NW have produced two President in Yar’adua and Buhari and one Vice in Sambo.

The NE ruled with Tafawa Balewa as Prime Minister and yet Atiku returned as Vice under ObJ and contested for Presidency severally.

The SW ruled under Shonekan and took power with Obasanjo Presidency and Vice under Osinbanjo.

The SS was lucky to rule as Vice under Yardua and took Power as President with GEJ.

The Middle-Belt/NC ruled in Military capacity for more than 30 years.

But the SE have only gotten there as Deputy, First with the ceremonial President of Zik and later with Ekwueme as Vice. The only time the SE wielded power was just 4 month with Ironsi military junta.

So for fairness and equity, the SE deserve the Presidency.

BKayy:

He is not talking about IPOB taking part in Nigerian elections but using their God given brain.
I can't believe that at this stage, IPOB can't boast of a dedicated mole within Nigerian political structure irrespective of Party.
That is exactly why Igbos ESN can't boast of smuggling any good weapon into Nigeria but rely on the ones they can get from Nigerian Security structure (ordinary AK-47).
Use your brain. In warfare, the importance of moles cannot be over emphasised.
Nna, stop talking what you do not know. You think it's easy as you are tying it here. Go and form your own group and place your so called moles in nigeria's parties. There are issue of saboteurs in Igboland, or are you not seeing how IPOB is grasping with internal issues? That is Igbo people for you. Once IPOB strays out from their command and control structure into anything politics in the dungoen, it will spell IPOB's end.

Governors and politicians have the money to buy off anyone. You have to praise IPOB for still holding out despite all the financial temptations. May be you are the one that smuggled in the guns that ESN are using, right? It's easier to mock from the comfort of your home in Ireland. IPOB relies on the guns they can get from nigeria security structures? Are you this daft? I thought that you are one of the reasonable people here.

So IPOB started taking guns from nigeria's securuty officials before the launch of ESN, right? Where is yoru brain, or didn't you witness ESN on the lauching day with their own guns? You smuggled it inside the dungeon for ESN, right? Some of you come in here just to type garbage without reasoning. Go and do your dungoen politics and leave out IPOB. You reason well more than IPOB, so go and form your own group and stop calliing on IPOB to follow your myopic views. Ndi onwere ka esi eme ya, yet they only come online to talk garbage.
