I used form A and I’m yet to be debited by GTB self.

And I have deadline of oct 12 to pay.

Can I be dropped if I don’t pay or money doesn’t reflect then? Anyone has an idea?

No you won't be dropped just a late fee payment fine of max $100 ish or so. but you should get telex copy from your bank and send to them immediately .

It's just one way of showing proof of fund. You're right at the bold, but where full tuition is paid and GIC covers living expenses for the entire study duration, the VO will not have concerns that the funds may not be accessible.

It is true that it would demonstrate adequate financial sustainability for your proposed course of study in Canada. However, you can do same by having the funds in your Nigerian bank account. Nonetheless, while working on showing proof of financial sufficiency, also extensively substantiate your family ties in Nigeria and purpose of visit to Canada for these are the three basic requirements for issuance of a Study Permit. Failure not to cover other criteria oftentimes result in the rejection of an immigration application.

Good morning everyone, please I would like to seek your candid advise on my Canada study application. I studied microbiology (B.sc) graduated with 2.2. also, i had 63.2% weighted average mark in M.Sc in the same discipline with 3 years work experience in an health care facility as well.
An agent applied for a post baccalaureate diploma in health care management and I have been admitted to the school. I would like to know if I am going in the right direction before I proceed with my visa application? Please help o!!

Kindly be informed that your chances are quite slim to secure a Canadian study visa, given that you already have a Master's in same field of study and now opting for a Post Baccalaureate diploma in health care management. The visa officer will most definitely decline the application as there is no logical progression between your past education and intended program. The responsible immigration officer will have the impression that you're using study permit as a means to facilitate relocation to Canada rather than educational advancement. My professional advice for you is to apply for a Second Master's or a fully funded PhD program.

Greetings
I have similar a case, but me I have a B.Sc in Economics, my plan is an M.Sc in Economics as well, but sincerely I am still struggling to understand the whole stuff,
How to even apply for admission online and stuffs like that.

Let me make things easier for you, search for Master of Arts in Economics at University of New Brunswick, the tuition goes for 8kcad and no tuition payment is required until the first day to start of classes.

Get your documents ready and quickly apply to the school and thank me later cool.

To show career progression, it is highly advisable that you should opt for a course that is directly relevant with your work experience. In essence, what you're presently doing would determine your course of study in Canada.

My only Guru, Frankrobbn the great

I remember vividly.... grin grin Maybe I will have to change my Moniker from Makano to Man with Zero Tolerance.. grin grin grin

I had to be more active seeing you have been so scarce on this thread, and you know these newbies need us for guidance and service for their applications. It's good to be back again after 2 years of absence, and I will continue to appreciate you also for the wonderful works you have been doing which have benefitted many applicants in and outside of this thread, many of the things I know now is because I was studying and reading your posts then coupled with my personal research and development.. Its good to also have you back my guru, and we hope you will be active on this thread, cos I and many applicants are still learning from you....

I may be called a Guru, but Frank na Elder for this game... RESPECT

Peace
Frankrobbn1:

Makano - hope you remembered the nickname I gave to you in 2018? "Man with zero tolerance" grin grin. I can recall how strict you were with newbies back then and always encouraged them to read past threads before asking their questions.

Glad to see you're back and very active on this platform, sharing insightful and useful information with others. Personally, I appreciate your kind gestures and effort. Keep up with the good work bro.

Thanks for your response. I think I will try and apply for a course-based masters, because I think 63.2% is low for a research based masters program. That’s better right?

I am Sorry on your refusal...I had the same reason for my refusal then but the gcms indicated dependents which are 3 in number for my sponsor then...

even though the money is enough, the VO will still question how will the sponsor fend for his or her dependents or family...

My opinion though....

Mrychz52:
It seems the majority of Canadian study visa refusal at this time borders on Personal Assets and Financial Status. I was also refused on the same grounds. Applied on the 16th May, 2021. The refusal message dropped on the 10th September after a long waiting. Please my fellow Nairalanders I solicit for your candid advice, before I reapply I want to dot all i and cross all Ts. In my first application a step-sister.

Ermmm hello guys
I had proactively booked a date for my medicals and then I received a letter from ircc to get my medicals done and to submit within 30 days, the 30 days would end on the 10th of October and i was able to shift my medicals on the 6th which is today. Do you think my portal would be updated before 10th of October?
