Hello Fellows,

Please I need your thoughts on this, I applied for SP last year on financial grounds and I struggled and got some grants and awards.

Please do you think I should include my staff welfare and investment that has money (Although not accessible until I resign), as an added document for proof of funds?

I applied for 2021 September fall, buh due to delay from IRCC I deferred to Jan. Would be resuming Jan 10th
okay thank you. I just got an offer for January but I don’t know how long the visa processing will take though and I can’t defer to next September. I’m yet to pay the tuition deposit for offer letter, which payment option did you use and what was the exchange rate? Thanks

Yes it will raise the generic unavailable funds for study.closing balance should not be as little as 200k, they want to see that the cash is available for your studies and living expenses.

Oh!! I see.
Thank you so much for responding.

I'm not sure of proof of funds. However, it is an invaluable means to show ties to home country (ensure you discuss this in your SOP), in the sense that you have this funds to look up to when you are done studying and back to your home country.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Omiinii: 8:17am On Oct 07, 2021
Please I have a question I've been sending webforms for weeks now. Updating my bank statements, updating my sponsors ID and also complaints and I found out that when I use the webform I didn't direct it to Nairobi(found out here that you have to direct it to the primary office). I'm wondering then where are all the extra information I've been sending for the past week been going to?... Does it means the VO'S haven't seen these webforms or there's no need to resend again just to be sure.

Have you done medicals?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Omiinii: 8:28am On Oct 07, 2021
1.) Enjay I think to be on the safe side you should just send an updated LOE to explain everything you think you left unsaid. Couple it with document as well to confirm your claims.
Send the information via webform and email to the nairobi, lagos and london office.

2.) For your guy I think he should just let his dreads look well kept... everything should lay down most of the strands should be at the back of his ears not scattered and disorganized. There's no big deal if he looks presentable even with the dreads
Enjay316:
Please I have Two questions one 4 me and one for a friend
1. I forgot to state in my SOP and letter of explanation, how my wife and kid will survive while I am away studying, though I put my wife's employment letter there but did not submit her statement of account. IS this bad.also I did not talk about them when addressing my social ties.but I definitely added their birth certificate, pictures (including wedding pictures) and marriage certificate. is it bad I did not Adress it in my SOP

2. My friend is thinking of applying but wants to know if having dreadlocks is red flag.not everyone with dreads is a Yahoo guy ooo. This one has a gymn,an art studio and is into photography but is a graduate of English and literature.
has anyone gotten PPR with dreadlocks ?
is having dreads a red flag?

Ketima:

You came to one of the best forums you can gather plenty of information.

Kindly wait for our walking google( he knows himself grin grin grin) to be online, he will surely give you the best details of courses and schools offering the courses you want.

Now as regards your education and work experience which are in different fields. if you want to further in anatomy and with 2.2, your best plug is Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate as the case may be as it will hard to get into Masters unless some schools that accept a 3.0/4 in last 2 years of undergrad. This is to show academic progression. Now, for career progression, what is your job duty in the bank, this will enable gurus in the house to guide you accordingly.

Thank you brother, im still waiting for teh GURU ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
When you refer to a good school, do you mean in terms of ranking? if by ranking you mean, mind you it will be competitive and as well could be expensive.

Again as regards your statement on the province that will you likely get a visa, a study permit is not determined by the province or school you applied to ( even though some schools tends to have high study permit approval nos) but is determined and judged by individual applicants submission and as deemed to have passed the eligibility by the VO.

But start doing your own research while you wait for gurus to give you proper guidelines on how to go about it.

Just my humble opinion. All the best

I was talking to the buyer, Caveat emptor doesn’t even have the word ‘seller/poster’ in it.
