Good morning my people

Please I am about reapplying after my previous refusal and I want to make some clarifications.

Please do I need to input my previous UCI number when filling the IMM forms for reapplication. is there also a place to input my previous biometrics and medicals

Yes, you have to input the previous UCI number in one of the IMM forms, check well and you will see it. By doing that, you wont need to pay for biometrics again.

You are not to input your biometrics number cos the UCI number is encryped with every detail about you, from biometrics to final decision.

Attach the previous medical slip when submitting your application.

Yes, in the IMM forms, put your UCI where required. Then for medical and biometrics, when filling the questionnaire, were they ask if you have had biometrics and medicals done at IRCC recognized clinic, click yes. In the end, u will have where to upload it.

Any reason?

The visa officer is only authorized to know the balance of an account with in the period shown on the bank statement. He/she can not go beyond that.

Hello guys,

Please I have a a friend who has a National diploma in food technology and wants to go for nursing.

1.Please is this advisable considering career progression?

2. Please would she go for BSc as she has National diploma or she can go to college? If yes

3. Please what schools can be considered?
@Lekiboboe please your input would be greatly appreciated and all too

Thanks in advance

How old is she?

To get an admission isnt a problem but to convince a visa office why an ND graduate is going for bsc nursing is vital.

Must all the money in my account for the SP application remain in my account till a decision is been made? Please, I need to know..

For me personally, if the money in the account is way above the money mapped out for study ( for the first year or entire study), I recommended that the person shouldn't remove money from the account beyond that limit. This is to avoid if the VO request for updated POF and you submit less if not an empty account, vo might think you borrowed and had to return the money to the rightful owner.

But note that I never saw where it was written never to take out money from the account submitted for a study visa. If there is, I would love to see it.

This is my opinion though from a non-gurus perspective.

Yes. But ensure you apply to not just one school, then go relax and pray for a positive outcome and live your life. If possible, start now to arrange your study permit application documents.

Relating to your first concern, I had similar worries after applying but, to God be the glory, it ended well. In my case, I only mentioned where my wife works and also mentioned that, in her free time, she co-manages my registered business with me.

I didn't include her employment letter, ID or birth certificate. The only thing I attached was a marriage certificate and family pictures. Alas, I got approved.

I'm sure you understand that no two applications are the same, and no two applications will be viewed with the same lens. Just giving a little guide sha...

Enjay316:
Please I have Two questions one 4 me and one for a friend
1. I forgot to state in my SOP and letter of explanation, how my wife and kid will survive while I am away studying, though I put my wife's employment letter there but did not submit her statement of account. IS this bad.also I did not talk about them when addressing my social ties.but I definitely added their birth certificate, pictures (including wedding pictures) and marriage certificate. is it bad I did not Adress it in my SOP

2. My friend is thinking of applying but wants to know if having dreadlocks is red flag.not everyone with dreads is a Yahoo guy ooo. This one has a gymn,an art studio and is into photography but is a graduate of English and literature.
has anyone gotten PPR with dreadlocks ?
is having dreads a red flag?

The VO may observe the trend of transactions on the account statement and have a cause to suspect the fund may be borrowed. In this case the applicant can get a request to submit updated POF. If the money is gone or was immediately replaced again before sending the statement it may mean the fund was borrowed and may not be available for the purpose of study.

To be on a safer side, if you can, leave the money. If you have compelling reasons to take out part of the fund, let it be for very short term. This is me assuming you sincerely own the fund.

Background check will be updated as completed same day you submitted your fingerprints for biometrics at the VAC. The review of eligibility is the last stage of the immigration process and is processed by the Senior Immigration Officer who makes the final decision/review on applicant's case.

It will end in praise
My biometrics was updated 20th.September but Background Check has not been updated to completed. What should I do?

1. No idea
2. You can reach out to me
3. Download Barter by flutterwave application via playstore. Install the app and fund the virtual dollar card (at black market rate). Then use the virtual dollar card details to pay for the visa fees.
