I've been using Trustwallet for years and haven't experienced such, you just have to be careful with the way you connect your wallet to other platforms. The hacking comes from all those connections. From Presale to Airdrop, purchasing a coin through Pancakeswap Buy link on some websites instead of going through DAPP on Trustwallet. Avoid these things and your money will be safe except someone has your phrase.

More reasons iOS removed dapp completely. If you kon use your own hand connect with wallet connect on safari, it’s on you.

Buy on metamask with dapp and send to trustwallet if you intend to hold.
All I’m saying is if you using TW to hold asset, stay away from dapp.

1. Enable password for transactions.
2. Clear your cookies every time you use the dapps browser.

4. Check for updates on playstore and Update your trust wallet regularly.
5. Use allowance dot beefy dot finance to revoke addresses that connected to your wallet.
6. Ignore any fake Airdrop with .io ending.
Don't try to convert, sell or send it to another wallet.
Just leave it alone.
7. Read again thoroughly and get to work.

If you do these things, it'd be hard for anyone to hack your wallet.
