Thank you so much. There is no dependent yet. So if he has 4mil in his account and proof of his employment, and I show 10k CAD. Will that make sense? No property to show, the only tie is family.

this is very weird, send an email or raise a webform using application number info since there is no UCI, there is always an application number at least. explain what is going on and also confirm if the funds for the application has left your account, maybe it hasn't left and they are dealing with the pending transactions. in any case this is not normal state your issues. to be honest any little inconvenience in this Canada race raise a webform or sound out in an email to be safe.

his 6 year old daughter will need a study visa as well as she is above 5 years if she was younger she will need a visitor visa, that pregnancy should not be hidden but used as a bargaining chip in the letter of introduction, an angle can be use since it is a 2 mont pregnancy. it is very new and it can be used in explaining why your wife needs to come over with your family. if an agent is being used this can be a blessing in disguise for you as opposed to your belief that it is an issue. if you are DIY for this application take your time before writing that LOI and also attach proper documents proving anything. good luck to your friend

the money is sufficient definitely please don't forget showing money is not enough, explain the funds as well marriage certificate as well as any CAC documents that show him as a director if you have any. proof of employment as well as payment stubs, letter of introduction from work birth certificate showing he has aged parents if any, birth certificates of siblings showing he has siblings of same parents, pictures at family events possibly wearing aso Ebi. if no properties try to sell the family thing with proper documentations if you can. good luck to you and yours

the suffer way he suffer get the study visa never do? you want him to do more? lol the only thing left for him to do is enter Canada collect his actual study permit at the POE which is vital and also his SIN and give it to his wife to upload on her application. he can decide to alternatively stay behind help her apply till biometrics and upfront medical on her own application GC KEY and from there go to Canada to attain the earlier documents I mentioned.

I need some insight from experienced folks in the house. Currently in Ca for study and would like to apply for my wife and kids to join me. My Visa would expire mid-next year before the program ends but I am told it can be extended while in Ca. I recently got my new passport(the old one would expire same date as the visa). Can I apply for extension of the study& co-op work permit now or it has to be close to the expiry date?

Also, my wife is expecting and would that be an issue if I apply for open work permit for her and visit/study permit for the kids?

it is not an issue but disclosing it can be an issue, even at the medicals facility the instructions would advise you not to disclose it cos they will know. so its better to highlight it in your SOP to control your narrative.

from what Canada said (don't know if its been lifted) the only thing that spouse will need is a letter of authorisation saying the spouse is coming to their significant other. upon getting to Canada with the right documents can process way faster in Canada or for even quicker at the POE (more documents).

no application apart from PR is more than 2 months while applying in Canada, and POE can be 30 minutes or less

I think everything just needs to be logical. If her dad is who has the money she should use it and no need to complicate it. She can claim that it is part of her father's policy to send his children to any country even when they are married and she can back it up with her sibling's certificate to show the commitment of her dad towards education. If your husband got some money to show just put it too as his own contribution and if not no problem. This Canada stuff is not as hard as people are taking it. Everything is just logic and how you present it.

This is where it gets tricky, if you are the only one applying for visiting visa it is extremely longer to apply. Visiting visa processing time takes longer than even SOWP according to IRCC. But from recent experience once its mixed into a study permit application it is answered way faster. I dnt know how they do it but thats how its been working, so you have to already have the visitor visa or be applying with the study permit either for your wife or kids for it to make any sense. I hope you are able to understand the tricky situation i am trying to portray, if not check processing time for visitor visa from Nigeria and then for SOWP and check the thread and notice the trend and pick which one is quicker for you. From what we have been noticing sowp applied along side with kids study visa or visiting visas tend to get to the Applicants hands a lot faster than people applying just as a stand alone spouse.

I submitted it in one application with my wife as the principal applicant. However, IRCC gave my wife (the principal applicant) an application number without UCI but gave my daughter both UCI and application number. Please is this normal?
