My only Guru, Frankrobbn the great

I remember vividly.... grin grin Maybe I will have to change my Moniker from Makano to Man with Zero Tolerance.. grin grin grin

I had to be more active seeing you have been so scarce on this thread, and you know these newbies need us for guidance and service for their applications. It's good to be back again after 2 years of absence, and I will continue to appreciate you also for the wonderful works you have been doing which have benefitted many applicants in and outside of this thread, many of the things I know now is because I was studying and reading your posts then coupled with my personal research and development.. Its good to also have you back my guru, and we hope you will be active on this thread, cos I and many applicants are still learning from you....

I may be called a Guru, but Frank na Elder for this game... RESPECT

Peace

My brother, I can't appreciate you enough for the compliments and kind words. I believe you will do more than me on this platform. Once there is consistency and sincerity in your dealings with people, you will make an unforgettable impact. This brought me to the position I am on this window for close to five (5) years now.

My motto stands same: #Don't cheat on anyone, be truthful and transparent as possible and don't sugar-coat the immigration process for them. Let them know the challenges ahead of them and how they can puzzle out from the situation. This is very critical for your integrity and reputation.

I wish you well my brother and I'm glad you're back after two years. During my leisure, I will be here to provide my professional guidance and top-notch experience about the Canadian immigration processes.

Okay, this is clear to me. Now, what is the op doing for a living (current employment status), this will determine her course of study in Canada.

Tuition + 10000CAD = proof of funds. Some technicalities are involved. So i will advice not to apply. Your tuition isn’t even available

Firstly, what program and school did you apply for?
You can still make use of the school. All you need to do is defer

Hello everyone, I need some help booking a medical examination for my Canada study permit application.
IOM MHAC and Qlife Family Clinic are the listed centers but unfortunately there are no available dates in the near future. Can anyone who has done this recently help with information, contact details, anything, please

I don't know if this has been answered already, still you can call or mail the clinics with your medical request and you'd be scheduled for a closer date within the 30days required. That is if you've been asked to go for the medical by IRCC.

That's what I did with mine.

My landing gist.

I arrived Toronto yesterday. It was a very long flight using Ethiopian Airways. But mehn, their Air hostess fine die and them dey friendly. Plus their food make sense. We have a 7hrs on air from lagos to Addis ababa and 16hrs from Addis ababa to toronto.

At MM Airport. You will need to show covid test, enrolment letter and arrivecan.

Then at Toronto, you will need enrolment, admission letter, tuition payments and proof of funds. Infact the proof of funds dey important.

Thanks a lot for the insight. I showed a proof
of relationship with the sponsor and cited her in my sop.
Anon123:

Sincerely sorry for your denial. Reading your profile, your agent doesnt know JACK cos he or she gave you a wrong information and also oukd have advised you on stuffs you mentioned here that you shouldnt have.

1) You not including your own bank statement with a "thriving registered business" nd married is a red flag and denial will definitely be on finance/assets.
2) Your sponsor, did you show relationship between you and the sponsor and pointed it out on your sop?
3) You mentioned that you have dependents outside your family. The VO seeing this will deny you on finance because he sees no reason how you can fund your canada study dreams, your family and the dependents. Your agent should have advised you from MAKING THIS KNOWN. These visa officers judge applications based on docs submitted and all you said on the sop. Therefore you just shot your self on the leg here.

Furthermore having dependents and not including your own bank statements is another red flag cos it will be seen that you do not have money for this and you are totally dependent on your sponsor for everything as regards to studying in canada.

To reapply, order for your notes first and you will see the visa officer's concerns. it going to be hard to address this cos the dependents mentioned are already on record but if you can include your own bank statement with a significant amount. You have a chance.

Good day guys

My study permit for January 2022 has been approved and my passport stamped but my college revoked my admission due to unavailability of seats, I have gotten a new admission to a different college for May 2022 and IRCC website states that I should apply for a new study permit if I want to change DLI from outside Canada and i won't be allowed to board without notifying them of the change.

Will this be like a fresh application or am I just submitting my new admission letter and tuition fee receipt?, I know I'll have to show proof of funds and i even paid full tuition for the former college (I'll attach that receipt), Also do I explain my situation in my study plan or letter of application?

I appreciate your advice thank you.

Please I am new here and would like to find out some things.

Please I would like to get advise on these:

1. I just applied to a St Lawrence College, Cornwall, Canada to study Project Management (Graduate Certificate) for May 2022. Prior to this time, I have a Masters degree in Marketing from the UK in 2014. I am doing this project management course due to change in career. Would I be granted admission/visa?

2. My husband is a software developer that works remotely for a company in Asia, He is my sponsor and wants to go with me for my studies. Can we apply for visa the same time and is this possible?

3. At what point of application is one expected to submit proof of funds? as we need to liquidate some cash and you know we usually print out 4months bank statement for Canada.

4. If during this period I get pregnant can I still do medicals for the visa and would it hinder my being granted a visa?

Thanks in anticipation.

If i was in your situation.....

I wont think twice than to find a way for my previous school to get my an admission slot for either Jan May or Sept next year. I'm sure all this are still possible. Why risk another PPR when God has bless you already. Or at worst stick to any course in your former DLI updating about any development but pls dont change DLi. When u land in Canada you can change whatever you like and all I saw from here was that you will just need to inform IRCC about your change in DLI.
Pls dont change DLI as you will start a new application and your faith you dont know again.

The amount is insufficient to sponsor your education. Your sponsor is required to show proof of adequate and unenumbered funds for your proposed study in Canada.

I regret to hear that your study visa was refused by the Canadian immigration authorities. In order to assist you with a successful reapplication process. Kindly share a brief overview of your academic qualification and career background. This would provide clarity on how best to approach your next application.
