Yes! Getting a PhD position for an international students from Nigeria is very difficult. Most of the positions for PhD are secure based on recommendation from Professors within the Europe.
I have a friend doing PhD in Norway, his first Degree was 1st class, Second degree from Europe with distinction....and he got recommendation from one of his Prof. for position of PhD in Norway. PhD is a paying Job in Norway. OK thank you so much. What do you suggest she do, should she forget about applying for PhD in Norway? If not please your suggestion will go a long way.

Can someone please let us know the possibility of getting a part time job during study..... Also what is the chance of getting a permanent position after graduation.

Also, it's possible to relocate wife and child/Children to Norway while study? And hope the dependant will be allow to work?

We need to make findings before taking decision.

I think this questions will help most of us here.

Who ever av people there should pls help to ask about this.

Thank you.

While we await more answers, let me try;
I don’t know about the people but I researched and found out students do mostly delivery jobs and other odd jobs because we need to learn and understand their language to get a formal job.
Relocating with spouse and children is possible but with more cost. One has to show capability financially by sending a certain amount to the Norwegian Institute where you gained admission.( not sure of the amount) and the spouse can work full time while student only 20 hrs /week.
Let’s wait for the seniors in the house

I applied to Nord University and they asked for English translation of documents. My documents are in English already. Do I still need to translate it?

Hi, the translation is needed only for docs not in English. Except there is a way you can translate English to English without synonyms.

Getting a job while study is very possible. I am on few community pages and you frequently see job openings for international students….. in regards getting a perm job after graduation, you should actually consider studying the Norwegian Language itself to give you better landing spot in regards jobs after grad.

Yes you can relocate with your spouse and children and yes they can work full time. You will need should proof of funds for them also( NOK 126,367). You can visit the immigration website for more info. Udi .no

What are the chances of an undergraduate course in Norway?

You can get the admission but getting visa approval might be a bit harder. If you have B.Sc, just tidy your documents, SOP, CV etc then apply for Masters. Read more about Undergrad and visa approval on udi .no

This one the the slot allotted to international students for each course is very low ehn, wetin man go do to boost his chances. Does age matters? Last year, the total number of applicants for the course I'm going for was 158 and they admitted just 7.
