Hey house, I apologize if this has been asked here before but is there an age limit for studying in Canada? can someone over 30 apply for a bachelors program in Canada or would the visa officers decline the application?
Hmmmmm thats not advisable cos it is very dicey. What is the persons educational background? Bachelors in canada is btw ages 17 to 24 as far as i know. 30 is on the high side for bachelors becos the VO sees you as trying to escape. Another thing is do u have the funds to pay for 4years? Alot of loopholes is the course not available here and lots of questions like that. If you have alot of funds to cover tuition and living expenses for 1st year with a clear mapped out planned for how you will make payment next session (2nd year) then u can shoot your shot but i stand to be corrected its really not a adviceable though most especially if you ve got a degree before.
If u have an OND, NCE or HND then u could try but mind you u need to show enough proof of funds in excess of 30k cad

I regret to hear that your study visa was refused. Have you ordered for your case file to get a clearer insight about the refusal of your application?. I will recommend you share a detailed breakdown of your profile and the list of documents you submitted for your last refused application. This will enable me to ascertain whether there is a logical progression in your choice of program and be able to establish strong argument for your case.

It will end in praise

Yes! Upload it in client information and add your letter of explanation

Please where am I to upload my personal bank statement? Under clients information, or under proof of funds, I already included my sponsors statement under proof of funds. Am i to upload mine under that section as well?

Thanks for your response.

Good Day everyone, Please I want to know is it possible to pay for my study permit application from Nigeria using an access bank MasterCard ? Due to recent CBN policies regarding online payment, I heard a lot of people are having difficulties to make online payment exceeding $100 and will I be charged black market rate or CBN rate when paying ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by viviangogos(f): 5:32am On Oct 13, 2021
Oh, atleast some ray of light. You can now continue sending emails and webforms to still ask about application status since you are worried about this to be sure they are processing your application, hopefully, they will respond to you.

All the best

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by viviangogos(f): 5:37am On Oct 13, 2021
Your answer is right there in your comment. Due to CBN rules, you cannot make payment above 100 dollar using a Naira card. Study permit application is 150cad, biometrics is 85cad which is a total of 235cad. You can use an fx card to make payment or get someone you trust that has an fx card to make payment for you while you pay the person the naira equivalence, or use batter by flutterwave to pay....

This is too long. Do you have access to your gc key? If not please request for it and see exactly your application stage. Then bombard all IRCCoffice world wide with mail and webform. You deserve to know whatsup.
Thank you so much…I just requested for it from my agent #wokotravel waiting to hear from them

Hello nairaland1981

Having a Master degree and going for a Post graduate study is a BIG RED FLAG, cos it does not show career progression.. but like we all know nothing is impossible when it comes to the operation of IRCC, if you give the VO a genuine reason for a PGD(Practical experience) at this stage of your life, then you can get your Visa..

As regards your Intention for a PGD, What some applicants in your shoe did was to hide the fact they did Masters, i.e hiding their Masters degree from the picture and mention only their 1st degree, and they got their Visa.. The only thing about this is that you will hide your Masters degree from Canada forever i,e Even after you get your Study permit you wont still make mention of your MASTERs prolly when applying for Permanent residence or even Citizenship.

Since you have hidden it from the start, it has to remain like that to avoid misinterpretation in the future, you will just make mention of your Bsc and the Post graduate degree you will get in Canada..

Since you said you have 16 years working experience, you will need to explain in details all what you have been doing from the time you got your 1st degree till this moment i.e your study Gap.. Promotion letters, trainings, Certifications(as an IT person) pay slips and other vital Company documents will play a big role as regards this..

Also if you are not comfortable hiding your Masters, you can go for a second Masters (you will also give the Visa Officer a genuine reason for this) or better still go for a PHD.

Your age isn't a problem, as we have seen of several 40 gang applicants getting their Visas with Pgd, all you need to do is to write a convincing SOP and prolly LOE and also package your application well accompanied with the favour of God..

Then your Visa is sure

Good luck

Peace

Thank you......I got the masters from open University. Can it now be said I want practical experience/hands on experience (reason an going for PGD/PGC) as open University is an online University.

If you're in Lagos or Abuja walk into the nearest DHL office to send to Vfs. Because of Covid, Inhouse submission to Vfs is no longer supported.

Good morning everybody!!! There was a chargeback on my account a while ago, I used someone I taught I could trust, immediately I got a charge back I created an FX account and made payment after two weeks, I got a letter of procedural fairness and I already put up a strong case with documents and conversations which clears me of all wrong doing. I’ve got no way or contact information on how to send a response to them, please help attached before is a screenshot of the page.

My WhatsApp number is 09038704564, please reach out if you can and God bless you.
